looking for a refrigerator? I highly suggest you DO NOT purchase a KENMORE ELITE product. after researching refrigerators back in 2015 we purchased a Kenmore Elite 74015 30.6 cu. ft. French Door Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator - Finger Print Resistant Active Finish and the master warranty for an extra $500. fast forward to 2018, it dies an awful death on October 20th. technician could not come out until november 12th. lost over $800 worth of food. The tech had to order parts. The tech also told us that the kenmore elite is made by LG. Had we known that when we went to purchase it, we never would have bought it. LG is a **** product that few companies will service. December 4th, still have a dead refrigerator. Sears stiffed me on the spoiled food reimbursement and gave $250 instead of the $300 cap even though I lost double that in spoiled food. the product is awful, the warranty is absolutely needed if you decide to buy the product.
