I spent a lot of time researching appliances I didn't want to spend $15,000 so I went back to Sears and I am not disappointed. Â I love my counter depth refrigerator it holds everything I need it's very spacious and I'm so pleased. Its quiet and I don't understand the Â reviews that said the icemaker is noisy it is not . Â I know the product is made now by LG but so far I've been very pleased with my purchase it's been a little over a month and I have no complaints !
POWERBOARD WENT OUT IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AND I COULD NOT GET SEARS TO REPAIR IT IN LESS THAN 9 DAYS. ORIGINALLY THEY SCHEDULED REPAIR FOR 15 DAYS! WHO CAN DO WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR FOR 9-15 DAYS?!
Bought this fridge because of the smaller depth. Fridge fail 1 month before the extended warranty (2 years 11 months) I paid for expired (3 years). This fridge has the linear compressor from LG that is total junk!! They last about 2-3 years then internal valve fails and spews debris into the sealed system. They haven't fix it yet as far as i know. Also a bad experience with sears home services. They have no idea what their contract repair company is doing. Scheduled repair app 4 different times. Every time, they would show up after the time window they give you. Only received one call from the 1st tech saying he was on his way, the rest no call at all, just a text saying they were on their way and showed up 2 hours later which was after the app. One did not even show up, had to call and found out that the tech was not coming, gave some excuse. I finally got a guy out to repair and he only replaced the compressor and drier, not the condenser which was at my house and they said it needed to be replaced. He took the new part (the condenser) with him when he was "finished" with the repair. So I'm on my 4th time calling these guys out to fix it right. I caution anyone buying this fridge or any other with a LG linear compressor, and sears home services repairs. It has been a total headache. I will never buy another extended warranty on sears appliances.
Had this fridge for just a few days over a year, which puts it out of the one year warranty. Almost like it was programmed/built to break just outside of the warranty... I joke a lot about warranties like this but this is seriously crazy!! over 2k for a fridge that only last one year... the last fridge we had, a Whirlpool, lasted 20+ years
Completely broken in less than 3 years.
Don't by this fridge! I've owned this model for 2 years and suddenly the condenser stopped working. Sears has been to my house 3 times to replace the condenser and none of them have worked. A month without a fridge! This fridge is made by LG do not buy their products.
Purchased 1.5 years ago because I wanted a good quality white appliance set for my kitchen. Very happy with the purchase. Not a single issue.
