Loved it. Was easy to install and I have used it everyday since I got it.
I'm pleased with the microwave however the vent that slides out broke down only 3 months after purchase getting it replaced by Sears was a nightmare after 3 months of calling in over and over it was replaced but with the wrong color I purchased a black stainless steel and they replaced the vent with regular stainless steel it looks like a project done by Frankenstein devalues my entire kitchen and appliances. Although I have been loyal with Kenmore disappointed with the repair and service dept I will no longer be using Sears again
This is a nice looking microwave with nice features...however....We had to get the door replaced within the first month because the lcd screen appeared to short out periodically. The replacement also does it, but a lot less and only when certain buttons are pushed. I could live with that. Then after about 10 months of owning it, the fan was on for the stove exhaust, and we started the microwave, it would make this horrible very loud (like a gunshot) popping/arching sound. We thought for sure it would start on fire. After the sound it would work fine. We learned we can not run the fan and the microwave without this horrible arch/popping sound. When we called the service department it happened to be after the one year warranty and now they want $249 just to have someone look at it (not including parts), so I guess we just won't run the fan and the microwave at the same time and if it dies, I will buy a new one and it won't be a Kenmore elite, way to expensive to have such a major issue so soon after purchase.
The feature that sold me on this particular microwave is the extendable fan over the cooktop...I've used it and it WORKS! LQQk at Kenmore Elite before you check out others, you'll come back.

Wish I could review this microwave but the stupitidy runs deep. Ordered online Nov 28th, chose shipping to a KMart with estimated delivery Dec 3rd. Drove three hours to the KMart to recieve the microwave, online app shows delivered, no one seems to be able to tell me where It went. Store says they never recieved it, the Sears support line had every answer under the sun, complete incomeptance at their call center. (By the way, calls routed over seas to morons). What are buyers to do? No one seems to know where the package is. Complete and utter incompetance.
