Excellent performance and stylish looks

Purchased this a few weeks ago after doing much research and it has performed well so far. Considered GE, Kitchenaid, even a Jenn-Air floor sample that was very tempting. Ultimately was swayed by my previous experience with Kenmore and the Consumer Reports reliability surveys. The burners are very powerful, consistent and the usable cooking surface with the grates seems larger than that of other ranges in the class. Baking performance is very good so far. The stainless steel appearance and controls at the front are also an improvement over the traditional range/oven. The price is expensive and it does lack a warming drawer or baking drawer so the value could be a bit better but overall I'm very satisfied with this range/oven.

Range OK, Oven puts out Hot Air and racks are crazy tight

Looks good but don't want to use because so much warm air exits by the top of the door. This is mentioned in other reviews so I think it is "normal" but a design flaw in my opinion. I think there are better options for the money.

A piece of **** - high price low quality

|

Stay away from this model, it's absolute ****. It took 90 minutes to get the oven to 350. I had to return it and the whole customer service was frustrating. Sears has the worst customer service I have seen in years, at some point I truly thought It was some kind of joke. Two weeks after returning the appliance, I still haven't got the refund.

Our 30yr old range was much better

|

Oven cooks very unevenly in bake or convection. Interior oven liters are in the back so they shine in your eyes and all you can see is the shadow side of cookies etc... oven door is dark tinted, so to see, either open the oven door repeatedly (because of such uneven cooking) or shine a strong flashlight thru the glass. Burners are stupid. Can use none to make hot then turn down to simmer. Have to keep switching burners for different ranges of heat. Would NOT buy this product again.

Beautiful Range - Missing an Option

|

I love everything about this range. The bake options, the size/shape of the burners. However, it is missing a delayed time bake option. I am very disappointed that such a high end range doesn't have that option. Unfortunately, I have to return it. I don't use delay bake that often, but I do need it occasionally. If you don't need that option, then this is a great range!
