DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

failed after almost 3 years. Everything failed. 1500 dollars in repairs. Compressor and coils etc. sears don’t care as I didn’t buy extended warranty. My old GE appliance lasted 22 years without one problem. This fancy item is a dud. Dishwasher from pro is also awful.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

If I could give this zero stars I would. I did a lot of research and talked my husband into spending a crazy amount of money on this refrigerator 3 years ago. Two and a half years in, the refrigerator stopped working. Completely. After calling Sears Home Repair, it was determined that the compressor was shot - which is apparently very common in this make/model. So, essentially the refrigerator needed a heart transplant. I had to pay close to $400 for the labor, Sears picked up the part. At this point, the fridge started "working" in that it is cold... but the freezer does not get cold enough to keep foods frozen. And now the ice maker won't work (because the freezer won't get cold). Sears Home Services came out again and replaced the ice maker - for $600 - and the ice maker still won't work. Next technician says I need a computer board - not a new ice maker that repair was made in error - but the computer board isn't manufactured any more. So now, I have a fridge that doesn't work, and I'm about an additional $900 with Sears Home Services.

DO NOT BUY THIS

|

Paid almost $3,000 for this gorgeous refrigerator and LOVED it until 2 days ago. It's only 2.8 years old and stopped cooling. Sealed coolant leak. Not repairable! RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY for it to stop working completely and it's under 3 years old. Also, found out that it's an LG frig that Kenmore slapped a sticker on it. NOT HAPPY!

Look at quality of plastic parts before buying!!!

|

I purchased a Kenmore Pro refrigerator two years and 3 mos ago. One would expect the plastic inside to last longer than that. The little cheap plastic wheels on the drawers started breaking. One drawer will fall out if I pull it too far. I tried getting help from Kenmore and Sears, but neither would do anything, stating the warranty issue. Really? I will never buy from Sears or Kenmore again. They certainly saved enough on the plastic they used in manufacturing this product. They can't afford to replace the damaged parts resulting from their poor quality?

Heed the warnings! Seriously.

I’m batting 2/2 lemons. The first delivered refridgerator never cooled. It was warmer in my refridgerator than my living room.

Sears delivered another one. Everything was great for two weeks until I had a puddle of water in front of it four days ago. Which ruined my laminate floor. Customer service with “Sally” from India was just “so very sorry” and so very unhelpful.  They could not get a repair tech out for two weeks. I took matters into my own hands and had a local repairman out the next day and was not able to diagnose it. It leaked again yesterday from under the front. Which is a manufacturer defect. Which means it’s ****. $3000.00, a lot of time off work, migraines, and a giant insurance claim later- stay away.  This is why you’re going out of business, Sears. Bravo.
