A good purchase

Before we bought this unit, we did a lot of research. We saw some reviews that indicated problems with the freezer. But so far, we have used it for three months, there has no issue with the freezer. The upper double doors shut properly. We are happy with the purchase and it is a good value for the price.

Sears should never carry this product - it is horrible!!

This was a $7500 refrigerator - the first time it was delivered it was damaged beyond belief. A replacement was sent and it had a damaged butter compartment, the doors wouldn't close properly, the doors weren't hung properly and aligned, and the control panel needed to be replaced...all within the first week!! I am now on the phone ordering my third refrigerator in 3 weeks. This is horrible - the manufacturer should be ashamed of this quality, and Sears should never carry this product or brand - it is damaging the Sears brand.

Good layout

|

Because it is so wide I can always see everything in our fridge - no digging through to see the back. And it holds a deceptively large amount of food; I can always manage to fit more in. The deep drawers are well designed as well.

The only negative is the water filter countdown timer. It is not based on actual usage; it counts down at the same rate no matter if the ice is being consumed or not. For this price I expect something that is sensing usage, to give me useful information. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Very Dissapointed

|

We bought this fridge three years ago. It has an inherent defect where the switches that activate the lights snap off from very casual use. We have had to replace the left side once and the right twice in only three years of use. This is inexcusable in an appliance that is over $7,000.

Modern look

|

I purchased this refrigerator about a month ago. So far I am happy with it. I like that it has 4 smaller drawers for meats, cheeses and veggies. There is plenty space in the frig. The freezer is a little small but I have another one so it's not an issue for me. In the past I have always had a side by side with the drink/ice dispenser on the door. I like the look of the french doors better but I do miss the drink dispenser. Mainly having the ice on the door. I wish there was a way to get the ice out of the bin without having to touch the ice.
