Description Specifications
Flex Edge Mixing Beater is Durable and Efficient The tilt head flexible edge beater is a great addition to the KitchenAid stand mixer. If you get frustrated having to stop and start the mixer to scrape down the sides, the edge beater is your answer. From mixing brownie and cookie batter to creaming butter and sugar, it makes tedious cooking tasks straightforward and efficient. You'll be able to work a batter from chunky on slow speed to creamy on high speed in a matter of minutes, or even seconds, without having to stop the beater once. The flex edge mixing beater is an all metal beater to match the durability of the KitchenAid stand mixer. It maintains a safe wattage draw so that you don't run the risk of blowing a fuse during longer beating jobs. As the beater is dishwasher safe, cleanup can't be more simple. This beater is designed to fit the following stand mixer models: K45SS, KSM75, KSM95, KSM150PS, KSM152PS, and KSM155GB.

Good Product but...

It has a good design and scrapes the side of the bowl really well. I just wish it got the bottom of the bowl better. I'm constantly having to scrap up flour and butter from the bottom to get it to mix in.

Poor design, nice idea.

What a mess this thing makes, took longer to clean up the area than it did to make the cake. The beater does scrape the side of the bowl but then it flings whatever it has scraped off everywhere. It does this at the stir setting, probably if you used the 10 setting there would be nothing left in the bowl. Big disappointment, would return it if I still had the paperwork. So if you do purchase this item keep your paperwork!

Ripped the 2nd time used

|

I'm writing a review for my bf. He just got this as a Christmas gift and was so excited to use it. On his 2nd use (and it can very most likely be on his 1st time use), the rubber part was half ripped and gosh...he was so dissapointed. Yes, he loves baking (specifically cookies). Yes, he loves his mixer & is very satisfied. Just not this soft edge mixer thing.

Expected better quality from KitchenAid

|

This is a great idea and I saw knockoffs of this item, but I purposely bought KitchenAid because I wanted the best quality attachments for my mixer. I am very disappointed that the rubber edge has split and now the beater is unusable. I see by the reviews that I am not the only person who has this problem.

Seems to be better than the last one!

|

I love my Kitchen Aid Mixer and all of the attachments and blades have been wonderful. This was a gift at Christmas from my husband because the one I had
with blue silicone slotted blades on both sides of beater the blades began breaking off during use of making cakes into the batter over the holidays. I do not know if it had a warranty or not, and with all that goes on during the holidays I did not have time to look it up! I am hoping that the same thing does not happen to this one.
