OMG I love my mixer
I like the glass bowl, but the lowest mixing speed is still pretty high. It made a mess all over my counter. I'm not sure if I'm keeping it.
The description says this is a 325W mixer, but upon receiving it, the box and the mixer itself clearly show it is 300W. I also want to say something about the quality. With Kitchenaid being such a household name and renowned for their mixers, I was surprised at how thrown-together this mixer looks and feels. The wisk and hook are made of a light-weight metal. Not the substantial heirloom quality you'd expect. The attachments are very rough, unpolished, and you can see and feel the drill marks where they were bored out. The metal "Kitchenaid" band that goes around the top wasn't even attached all the way. Disappointed. Will be returning.
Does a great job, IAM very pleased with it. Not to mention the price was right.
great! Really helps prepare many things and works great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I wanted a kitchen aide mixer for a long time, and I was not disappointed. The one thing I am still looking for is a splatter/pour shield for the glass bowl. When I read some of the reviews for this mixer I was concerned about this. You can prevent splatter by hand stirring the mix together. I use my rubber spatula, stir once or twice, before turning on the mixer and it does the trick. It only takes 1 extra second, and I use the spatula to scrape the bowl when pouring the batter.
