I ordered a similar set with 4 chairs and a square coffee table from Sears about 7 years ago. It is very comfortable and I only had to replace the cushions once. I decided to order this "Charlotte" set, which looked very similar and use them together. I also ordered 3 sets of cushions for the old set - to match the new "Charlotte" Lazy Boy set. Everything looks gorgeous together! I paid the extra $49 to have the set put together and when it arrived, I only had to unwrap the plastic. The new set is even heavier duty and nicer than the old one. The cushions are much thicker (4" instead of 3") and the quality of the set is very high end. The swivel/rocking chairs are so comfy and allow you to turn and view other people, views, etc easily. I love the motion when I sit, and prefer the chairs over the love seat. However, the loveseat is also high quality and looks great on our lanai. This set is being used in a covered area outside near our pool but it would be equally beautiful in a sunroom or on a covered porch. I personally, would not leave it outside uncovered. It's much too nice a set for that. Unfortunately when I was moving the coffee table into place, I stood it up on end and the stone insert fell out and broke into 3 pieces. So I'm going to be using the old coffee table (glass top) unless I can find a replacement for the stone insert. So, I'm giving you fair warning, DON'T stand the coffee table on end unless you are holding the stone insert in place - or better yet- use a heavy duty tape or bungee cord to hold it if you have to turn it on its end.
I bought this set in April of 2014 for $900 then added the optional side tables bringing the total to over $1000. It's November of 2015 and the whole backs of both swivel rockers are completely dry rotted and blown out. The love seat back is cracking now too. My daughters friend tried to sit in the chair and actually fell through. Luckily, her neck hit the top cross bar and that prevented her from falling all the way to the ground. Sears won't stand behind it and Lazy Boy only warranties the frames for more than 12 months. Look at the dates on all the reviews... how old are they? This is a real review from Central Florida. Lazy Boy doesn't offer customer service on the weekends only M-F. I will however say this... prior to the backs rotting away in 19 months, the seats were extremely comfortable. The funny part is the Sears site claims this product is recommended for commercial use! Could you imagine a hotel guest falling through the chair back and hitting the ground... the lawsuits would fly!!!!
Don't waste your money on this set. I bought this patio set in 2015, 3 years ago. It has been on my covered patio the entire time. The fake rattan is literally disintegrating. I very rarely sit on it. It's just falling apart before my eyes. And Sears calls this outdoor furniture???
Buyers beware! If you are planning to purchase this outdoor furniture or any all-weather resin weave furniture, think carefully about where you will place it if using outside. We spent over $2,000 for this seating group & matching dining table & chairs. The chairs did not last 3 years. They were used under a gazebo & metal structure. The sides & backs of chairs are torn & useless. We called customer service & were told only 1 year warranty on chairs. Very disappointed as we thought this set would last much longer. I could not recommend this set unless it was used where the outside elements (wind, rain, or cold) did not touch them.
Very comfortable but lasted only one season in northern Nevada sunshine before the cushions started to fall apart. Both the fabric and the foam! Only thing that held up were the throw pillows.
Extremely comfortable. Buying my second set!
