No more bedsheet dryer boogers! :D

Putting two king size bed sheets into our former dryer (that just blew two motherboards and died) (not an LG) resulted in a giant ball of damp in the middle bedsheets every. single. time. I tried different things to get the sheets not to ball up into a giant bedsheet booger, but.... nothing worked. Other things also balled up into wads as well. I couldn't stop it. With this new LG, NOTHING WADS UP! EVERYTHING TUMBLES SEPARATELY!!! Beyond that, evvvverything dries better in the new LG. When the washer needs replacing, we'll be looking at LG models ONLY for sure. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Don't buy unless you have....

almost direct access to outside venting. Our dryer duct work has more than 4 elbow needed (15 feet total duct work length) on order to reach outside venting. We continually get the "Duct Blockage" indicator of 90% or 98% even though our duct work has been cleaned and is free of any lint build up. This results in the sensor restricting the drying process and we have to run the cycle several time in order to get the item dry. This problem is not made known prior to the purchase. Also if you do not have an Android smart phone you can not use the "Smart Laundry" app as it is not available for iPhone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Too many changes, too many features.

|

I am not really thrilled with the performance of this model. I had an LG dryer of similar style purchased new about 12-13 years ago, and absolutely loved it! I bought this one because we moved into a new area, and needed to buy another, so of course I chose your product again expecting the same stellar performance. I found there to be too many choices which do not seem to add anything but more time. My sheets are always tangled or knotted and therefore partially dry, needing unraveling and in they go again! To be fair, I’m sure I’ll need to investigate more, because I must be doing something wrong, but for
now using the most basic cycles I’m not thrilled. The pedestal has been redesigned and does not support a laundry basket as it has before.

Quiet with loads of features

I didn’t intend to get a steam dryer, but I’m glad I did. When using the feature, the clothes come out wrinkle free. The only odd thing is the dryer light doesn’t come on when you open the dryer. You have to press the power button to get a light. I can’t imagine why it was designed that way.

Great dryer!

I bought the LG washer and dryer a couple of months ago. The dryer is much more efficient than the one it replaced. The drying time has been cut in half and it doesn't roll up sheets into a ball. Great dryer!

Great machine

My wife and I bought the washer and dryer set about a month ago and we could not be happier! The cloths come out smelling good and cleaner than with our previous washer and dryer. The features it has are practically endless and are perfect for pet owners!

Continues to improve on perfection!

This is my second LG dryer and I am very pleased with the new steam features. My first LG dryer is 10 years old and still running perfectly, so I gave it to a friend. They are very happy with the hand me down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
