A Smarter Way To Dry
I just got this washer a month ago and am loving this machine. Love the features of how I can download other washing modes onto it and also how I can troubleshoot from my phone what is wrong with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This dryer does its job quite well but there is one issue... When drying large items like bed sheets or even a single item, the items are twisted into a ball and knotted! Even a single item is scrunched up and still damp! The drum doesn't reverse itself during the drying process like Miele! The reverse rotation prevents such issues from occurring.
This is an amazing appliance and is more than I could have hoped for! We're so happy that we get to experience this fantastic product!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this dryer in August and have the sensor board and everything replaced. I continually get an error code when I turn on the dryer. And when it does go into a cycle it does not dry clothes, or my towels and the rug mats come out damp and/or wet. Recently the screen flashed indiciating to add water to my drying cycle and it was NOT on steam. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have owned other brands before and this never happened. Much cheaper dryers from other brands, in my rental units, don't rip the clothes.
We clean the filter screen before every load, as we did with any other dryers. So many shirts, pants are completely ruined.
The original filter plastic parts are so flimsy that they don't fit well even when it came with the dryer. Corners always portude and they tangle the clothes. Over time, grille is broken in other areas too.
This is such a critical part in dryer, not sure why its designed and built so poorly. Lint should not accumulate in the housing so much so that filter doesn't sit properly.
This one part makes the entire dryer unusable.
We are so frustrated that we were thinking about even replacing the dryer and never buy LG dryer again.
Don't recommend it!
I bought this appliance from Airport Appliance in Redwood City. We wanted the best of the line. We bought a washer and dryer. The dryer is ok. The washer cleans the clothes, but it is extremely noisey. Washing 2 king size sheets it sounds like it is trying to destroy itself. It jumps around, and hits itself internally. We have checked the level, and it is ok. Our previous machine, a Kenmore, did not do this. I don't think this machine will last very long if this problem is not addressed. The drum is making a lot of noise, rumbling no mater the size of load.
Shakes the floor !. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
