My husband and I purchased our 'LG' radiant cooktop after comparing it with several other brands of cooktops, because of it's: #1- sleek, practical, upscale appearance and #2- the ease of keeping it clean #important because I am handicapped#. Now that we have used our cooktop for several months, our decision has proven to be the correct one. Learning how to use the controls was easy,the burners respond quickly, cleaning couldn't be easier - NO MORE UNDER BURNER PANS OR CONTROL KNOBS TO CLEAN!!! All in all - a good decision and a great cooktop - for now and for years to come #will be a definite plus when we decide to sell our home#.
I bought this cook top over a month and got it installed two weeks now. While using and trying to turn off the cook-top it would not respond from the control nothing seem to turn it off but my circuit breaker. This same issue happen again last night; I'll be returning this cook-top, I had enough of it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Features and sleek look

|Mine started chiming after a few weeks of use, had to reset at the breaker. Continued and added touchpad not working, again reset at the breaker. 4 months in - the touchpad stopped working completely. Went through the hassle of warranty repair to find out there is a national backorder on two of the boards including touchpad with no ETA. LG offered a defective swap out but kept screwing up their paperwork. 6 weeks later I was told my only option was a refund. I filed more paperwork and am currently sitting 2 months without a working cooktop and no refund. Very disappointed in the product and support.

|We picked this out for our new house being built and selected all LG appliances because we are big fans of LG. We learned to use the cooktop without a manual and struggled through a bit of it but we figured it out eventually. It's difficult to get the large burner with the 3 rings to all light up so it's cooking on all burner rings.
