Technology At Its Finest
We live in an older house with cabinets that are a bit lower than modern homes. So, our choices of refrigerator were limited to 22 cu ft and smaller. I found only two french-door, bottom freezer models - this one and another brand. The specs of the two models were almost identical; however, the LG felt more solid and had a more "upscale" look. We're very very happy with our purchase. The temperature is cold cold cold, our fruits and veggies last longer, our frozen food is solid (something our old side-by-side couldn't achieve), and the internal icemaker is outstanding. The inside LED lights are noticed by all who open the doors. Hands down this is the best choice for a 22 cu ft refrigerator.
Had refridgerator delivered by Sears, did not work from moment one except interior lights but delivery guys just left. Called Sears and they are giving me run around without resolution in sight, meanwhile my family and I still have no refridgerator. Sears sure has changed with poor quality products and poor customer service. Never again! Really sad how a company with such a long standing high reputation has declined so badly over recent years!
This refrigerator is perfect! I absolutely love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My LFC2277OST was delivered December 31, 2018.There are several items I'm not pleased with. Some I should have seen while shopping for a refrigerator - shame on me. My biggest issue couldn't be seen, but had to be heard. It's noisy. I believe this refrigerator is louder than the 50 year old refrigerator I replaced. I don't even have the ice maker connected. Additionally:
-When you pull open the freezer drawer as far as it will go approximately 25% of the lower basket remains covered by the upper shelf. It's difficult to see what's in the back portion of the basket.
In turn, the upper shelf doesn't slide all the way out. Approximately 75% of the shelf remains inside the freezer. There's no way to see what's on the back of the shelf.
-The lighting is all in the front. There is no lighting towards the back where it's dark.
-I wouldn't recommend french doors on a 30" refrigerator. I was limited in space but
should have gone with a single door. Most of the time you end up opening both anyway.
It does keep things cold and frozen.
Love the French doors and freezer on the bottom! Ice maker makes lots of ice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Happy with purchase although the pics didn’t really show that the door shelves were as small as the are. I was a little disappointed about that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We have a very limited space to put a refrigerator, and never thought we could ever have anything other than a bland box. My wife fell in love with this one immediately as he always wanted a bottom freezer. Our only disappointment is that the front doors are not magnetic. Since my wife collects magnets this was a real downer to her. Since that is her only objection, we are very happy with our purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
