Terrific features!

We have had it for a month or two. Drawbacks: the deli drawer does not stay open. It automatically retracts. The freezer has some good features, but is partitioned into so many compartments that it is difficult to find things, even given the smaller space of a counter-depth fridge.

Frustrating middle drawer.

My wife wanted this for the bells and whistles. She like the middle drawer and door in door. I think its gimmicky and makes the refrigerator unnecessarily compartmentalized. But I can't fault the refrigerator for that you like it or you don't. The reason for my 1 start review is because the middle deli drawer does not stay open. It automatically retracts which drives me crazy. I would have not bought the fridge if I had known this. I think it is a major design flaw. My son opens it to get a snack, and the drawer closes on his arm. I can't return it either. So I'm stuck with a very expensive, child eating, refrigerator.

It's all I expected and more

We have had two other brands which were down more than working so we asked the repairman for his advice. He recommended LG. That's why we bought it a few weeks ago. It is a joy! The ice maker is dependable. It runs quietly and holds more than we ever put into it. The glass allows us to save opening it and losing cold...and money. We are very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking for quality.

Awesome Product

We have had this refrigerator for a few weeks and are very pleased. When it first arrives it seems to take forever to get down to temperature but that is due to the energy-saving technology. Once chilled it has no problem maintaining. The glass outer door is a blessing. We keep condiments, drinks, and anything that we access frequently in that space. As a result, we only open the full refrigerator door once or twice a day instead of many times. The center drawer can act as a freezer or fridge. We use it as a fridge for cold-cuts, bacon, eggs, etc., and we love it. The freezer is not large but it has a roll-out shelf and a drawer that keeps small items from ending up at the bottom of the chest. We have a full freezer in the garage so we only keep what we will use in a week in this freezer. The only disappointment is that the ice maker only makes 3-1/2 pounds of ice per day and that is all it will store. We knew that before purchasing it, and because we have a counter-top ice maker it did not matter to us. But, if you do not want to spend an extra hundred or two for a counter-top ice maker you should consider a different fridge. You should also know that all brands we looked at with the new technology have the same limitation. The door ice and water dispenser easily fits tall glasses, which is a great feature. Also, the ice actually comes out easily instead taking forever while some corkscrew device tries to break cubes apart. I think it is a great investment and worth the price. I have not, and do not intend to link it to any blue-tooth devices but it has the ability to do so.

Glad I purchased

|

My wife was not convinced that the access door for the most used items was worth the premium. We have had the refrigator for about 10 days and around day 5 she noted that after using the refrigator for a few days she was glad that we went with this unit. The rest of the unit is well engineered, provides a lot of value and provides good value. This would easily have been a 5 star rating but as I had read in reviews before I purchased the small tray in the top of the freezer "sticks" and is just generally flimsy. I hope LG gives this some thought and maybe even an upjgrade for us existing users would be nice. I would still recommend the refrigator just a shame an otherwise premium unit has this flaw.

Nice refrigerator!

We have had for just a few weeks. Enjoy showing off instaview but will not use it often. First French door so getting used to that and the bottom freezer. 23 seems to be more space than expected on the top but freezer ran out of room first day for us. Finger prints on the stainless.
