My new refrigerator was just delivered yesterday. So far I love it. It's roomy and easy to place my food in. I love the Door-in-Door. Easy to reach my water bottle and milk. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
What a piece of junk. Compressor died right at 4 years old and LG would NOT cover the labor to replace...only parts. Labor was $375 (and could have been worse had I not gone with the LG flat rate). Took over a week to repair, causing us to have to purchase a chest freezer to store infant breast milk in. I understand this is a VERY common failure on these LG linear compressors...perhaps a class action lawsuit will come up for this (Im hoping). LG customer service wouldnt make any exceptions to the labor costs despite this being a top of the line model at the time and only being 4 years old. Buy a different brand. Stay away from LG!
We have had our LMXS30796S for almost 2 weeks. The door in door is a huge asset with 6 children constantly going into the refrigerator. Keeping their frequently used items there saves from opening the doors and loosing the cooling in the larger part of the refrigerator.
The french door design allows for larger items, i.e. larger casserole dishes, to be easily stored and accessed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been enjoying the beverage door and being able to get to the items I use the most without having to open the whole refrigerator. Also enjoy the deli drawer/ and able to get to get to my vegetables easily. The 3 shelves in the freezer is great and helps organize the freezer better. I bought my fridge when I moved to my new home. I love the fridge, it looks pretty and I really appreciate the door-in-door feature. The first day it took a while for the fridge and freezer to get cold, but it was newly plugged in out of the box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We like the see through door and extra space inside. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
