I upgraded my standard microwave to this LG convection model. What a great appliance! I have a small kitchen and do not like to use the oven during the summer. I can do everything in my convection microwave! Super crispy chicken fingers and even a perfect roast. The only issue is there isn’t a backlight on the screen. I think this looks better but you can’t see the buttons in low light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The microwave feature heats very poorly. Everything else seems good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have just bought this LG over the range convection microwave about two and a half weeks ago and I'm very pleased with it. It looks very nice nice, functions well once you learn how to operate the unit, it's not hard. The interior of the microwave is very roomy, just what I was looking for. I love it, though the door handle is a bit big but it's not a primary concern. I love this LG convection microwave unit very much. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased this microwave to replace a rather old one I thought was slow. Unfortunately, this new microwave is slower than the old one. It looks nice and is easy to clean, but I miss the speed of cooking my old microwave gave me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We were somewhat limited by the available space over our range. This unit fit with minimal cabinet work. Works fine and the custom settings feature is great. "Smart" popcorn setting is great!
The unit had 2 warranty calls out of the box - the door latch sensor wiring was reversed from the factory (poor QC) and the door latch itself had to be replaced (Why in the world would anybody design a plastic safety latch system on a product that is used several times a day?).
My only user complaint (and apparently one from almost everybody) is the difficult to read feature menu. Whoever came up with dark gray letters on an unlit, black background needs to actually try and use the product themselves. I guess we'll eventually learn where to press. The dial knob is the easiest thing to use. I wonder why more ovens its don’t have it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Can’t get it to heat anything. Whether It’s on microwave or convection. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
