Fits All of Your Food
Major Freshness
Designed for Your Kitchen
I recently did a complete kitchen remodel, and although I have a rather small kitchen, I wanted to upgrade to a overhead compressor unit. The challenge was that I could not fit the more common 48" wide premium refrigerators, I only had room for the much less common 42" wide models, of which there were very few brands to choose from. My local dealer happened to have this unit on their showroom floor, which made inspecting all of it's features very convenient. I did research on comparable brands, but still came back to the LG. The unit is now installed and we are very happy with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I ordered this fridge (along with other appliances) on July 3. At the time, the fridge was in stock and would be delivered July 13. Shorty after ordering sears decided to change my delivery date to July 30, despite all items still being displayed online as in stock and ready to ship. On the delivery date, all items were delivered except for this fridge, which is a problem because I moved into my new home the next day. Since that time Sears has failed to show up to my house on three separate occasions, and when I call after having sat around for 4 hours, they say LG hasn’t delivered the fridge to them yet and they will need to reschedule. No apologies, no timeframe for when it is coming, just constant three hour delivery windows that are ignored and rescheduled after I have to call.
We purchased this refrigerator two months ago and love it. We really like the express ice option. The shelves on the inside of the door slide up easy. Nice feature
Garbage appliance, from a garbage manufacturer. We bought this LG Studio in August 2018, brand new. It is NOT EVEN 9 MONTHS OLD, and already the FAN MOTOR HAS GONE OUT. We know it's the fan motor, because the "smart screen" on this dumb refrigerator flashed the fan motor code. When calling LG for warranty service, you must use one of their "LG qualified technicians" who will come "diagnose" the problem and report back to headquarters and "fill out paperwork" before any action can be taken. Apparently, they only have 3 "technicians" servicing the entire Los Angeles Area. Ridiculous. And because LG customer service sucks, they won't help you schedule the technician. They just tell you the phone numbers, and leave it up to you to play phone tag. All of the technicians are, of course, backed up, one of them for a month, probably because LG appliances are complete rubbish and belong in a landfill. We are now waiting a week for a "qualified technician" to come and "diagnose" the problem, even though the error code has already stated what's wrong. I then expect we will have to wait another month for LG to "approve the repair", "fill out paperwork" and "order the part". In the meantime, food is being stored in a spare "economy" fridge, which frankly functions better and more reliably. In my opinion, save yourself $7 grand and avoid LG. As a side note, I also have an LG phone. And it is garbage too. So basically, LG is garbage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've only had my new fridge 3 weeks but so far I am extremely pleased. I'm definitely getting more life out of my vegetables. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
