We replaced a Samsung with this LG and its been a great purchase!! Uses less water; clothes are cleaner and tub capacity is bigger. Couldnt be happier!! Thanks LG
I bought this in July and had nothing but problems, the washer doesn't spin enough to get the close dry, there is not a spin only cycle and when I tried to download using their UPC code for a more detailed manual, I get the manual that came with the washer and no info on how to get a spin only cycle. Don't buy an LG washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in Nov but delivery was delayed about a month or so. Our other appliances are all black but we had to settle for black steel which is dark gray. The glass doors help it blend in and are a quality touch. Washer works great and is very fast. 29 min for a load and uses very little water. Huge capacity. Lots of settings. Requires phone app to access online features and add settings even though is wifi enabled. This washer requires Hammer arrestors to be installed on your water pipes-this should be told up front, and is my main complaint. The violent on and off shakes the pipes. The clothes stick to the drum when finished and you have to peel them off. The washer sticks out a bit further into the room than the Frigidaire it replaced, partly because the drum is larger but there is also a large gap at the top/wall that is a clothes trap for things to fall behind. The Frigidaire had a "shelf" that stuck out above the hoses and was close to the wall. The side handles are a great idea to help move and position washer.
I replaced my 18 year old Kenmore with this and I am super happy! The Kenmore took forever to wash, this unit has cut my wash time in half. Its quiet and so far has been doing a good job washing. I also like the cycle selection and wash temps. I am only have one problem...connecting the wifi feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace my 6 year old Samsung set which was having drum and timing issues. I knew I wanted a reliable brand, but was in between LG and GE. After doing months of research, I decided to go with the LG. Its slimmer and more modern than the GE model I was considering. When they came to install the set, the installer could not say enough good things about the set which made me more comfortable with my decision. Excitedly I put load, after load, after load in the washer and was impressed with its performance. Not only did my clothes look cleaner, the washer is considerably more quite than my last one. Even with the laundry door open and the washer going, I can barely hear it running (I live in a small, apartment). I have not used all of the features, but the bright white and sanitize cycles have amazed me. Sturdy, nice looking and well performing, Im happy with my purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few days ago and have doe 8 loads of laundry so far. I replaced my 15 year old Maytag with this. I do like the fact that this does not have an agitator like the top load washers do. At first I thought it would be weird, but I can actually wash my larger comforters and pillows in this machine. I'm still getting used to all the new settings that come with this machine. But my clothes come out clean and it does the job. The spin cycle is quiet, I actually had to listen to make sure the washer was running. Not used to not hearing my machine shake and make a ton of noise. I did notice tho that I do have to wipe down the door in between washings as water does cling to it. Doesn't leak, just hangs there.
