Laundry Done Right
Simple, Effective Cleaning Power
I purchaaed the washer and have been using for a few weeks. I belong to consumer reports online where I researched. Everything they said was spot on happy with the product. It did well with a load that wasn’t balanced, it cleaned clothes much better than the ten year old Bosch I replaced. The turbo cycle speeds up the washing time, and we completed a load in 50 minutes. Draw back it’s all electronic so it takes awhile to figure it out, and I am still doing that. I always think they should supply a instruction sheet that’s laminated and you can post by the washer. I have college age daughters that will require a lesson before they use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've had multiple problems with this washer. First, it causes my pipes to bang, and yes, I know supposedly this is not a washer defect but I've never had this problem before. Purchased water hammer arrestors that help. Second, the liquid detergent dispenser doesn't work well. It's supposed to siphon the detergent out when the machine adds water, but sometimes it works so badly that the dispenser is still full of water and detergent when the machine turns off. A technician was unable to fix this problem. I use an excellent detergent that I guess I can't name here, switched to another and it still happens. I removed the dispenser gadget and now just pour the detergent in without it. Also, the machine vibrates too much on spin. I've had it leveled twice and it doesn't stop. My clothes do get clean, but they felt like they still had soap in them until I removed the dispenser gadget. I suspect detergent was washing into the rinse cycle. My previous washer was also an LG front loader, and never had any problems with it.
We have had our L-G washer and dryer for about a month. We are very impressed with the quality of both, and amazed how much faster we get loads of laundry done. The quietness of operation is impressive. The washer never seems to have any balance issues.
I have had this front load high capacity washer for 6 weeks now. It cleans very well and washes very fast, 1/2 hour to 45 minutes per load.
We have washed comforters and have not experienced any of the vibration issues U have seen reported elsewhere.
I purchased the sidekick washer as well and I am sure that helps stabilize the washer as well.
One important note. If you buy the sidekick and the large washer you should be running that on a 20 amp circuit, not a 15 amp circuit like you would find in an older home.
I purchased this washer 10 months ago and it has worked better than any washer I have had in the past 50 years. It is easy to use, uses just the right amount of water, is extremely quiet and gets the clothes clean, even when using the 15 minute quick wash. A great washer in all respects.
I have the washer for about three weeks and it has been great. The different features it has for example the laundry comes out where it’s slightly damp. By putting this into the dryer the drying time is cut down a lot which is great. I have washed summer weight quilts king size. Saves on dry cleaning. The amount of washing detergent needed is very little to wash clothes. The sales person that I spoke highly recommended this make and model. Overall a happy customer. Cheers.
We bout our washer 2 months ago. I was not sure about the price or it living up to the hype. It DOES!!! I love this washer!! It handles largerloads, like my comforters or towels and does them in less time than my previous washers.
It is also gret on my delicates. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
