LG WT7200CW review

This is our first HE Washer and given the wide range of reviews of these new technology washers from all manufacturers I was a bit concerned. People either love them or hate them. After using our new machine for a week of so here are our conclusions: 1) read and follow the instructions - especially regarding proper loading and minimal use of detergent - and the machine cleans as well or better than our prior agitator model 2) the tub is deeper - we bought a folding stool for my wife to reach the bottom 3) one thing to improve - does not work as well with colorfast bleach such as Clorox 2 - the Clorox 2 is thicker/higher viscosity compared to regular bleach and does not drain as well into the washer .

So disappointed.

I bought this along with the dryer four months ago. I loved them both and was very happy with my purchase. However, my washer is now tearing up after only four months! The agitator won't stay attached to the bottom of the drum. I had it repaired, and it broke again on the very first load. I'm still paying for a washer that I can't even use. I am so disappointed. I expected much better in an LG product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Complicated features

I don’t like many of the features in lg washer especially the add water feature. When I want to add more water when I press add water button ( while rinsing) ,it will go in remote mode and never starts. Then I thought of using spin only feature ( so that I don’t have to restart from beginning). At this time it will never fully spins and starts over again and again never stops. I am going nuts. Why sooo much complicated? I like my old washer n dryer ( old model) better than this. Please do something. Please improve ur technology. Don’t ruin others peace of mind

Beyond Frustrated

uselsess wifi

I bought this 8 months ago. Seems to be okay. I wish the instruction manual was better. I could never get the wi-fi to work. Would help if there were detailed instructions. So the custom program button is useless. Not a fan of the extremely low water level on the normal setting. Not sure if it is because it doesn't work or that is the way it is designed. Again If the manual was written better you might know.

Not a good washer. It doesn't get clothes clean.

I bought this 3 months ago and am not happy at all with the washer. It doesn't get clothes clean and this after even a 2+ hour wash cycle. And I have spent HOURS with it trying to make it work acceptably. I'm getting rid of it as soon as I can.

Excellent combination of value and quality

We've already done a number of loads with the new washer and are extremely satisfied. Able to wash more items at one time and they come out so clean. Looking forward to utilizing for many years to come.

LG Top load Washer

I have had a few washers over the years and always use the delicate cycle for certain garments of mine. This machine can take an hour and half due to I'm told the machine going off balance because not enough items are being washed. Just because this is a bigger tub it should not affect the delicate cycle in that way. The delicate cycle is horrible for this washer. It can also happen with other cycles at times and is not a quiet machine when running. I was very disappointed and I would have never bought this machine had I known this and have never had this problem with any other washer I've owned.
