LG WT7200CW review

This is our first HE Washer and given the wide range of reviews of these new technology washers from all manufacturers I was a bit concerned. People either love them or hate them. After using our new machine for a week of so here are our conclusions: 1) read and follow the instructions - especially regarding proper loading and minimal use of detergent - and the machine cleans as well or better than our prior agitator model 2) the tub is deeper - we bought a folding stool for my wife to reach the bottom 3) one thing to improve - does not work as well with colorfast bleach such as Clorox 2 - the Clorox 2 is thicker/higher viscosity compared to regular bleach and does not drain as well into the washer .

Takes too long to wash

Bought this washer two months ago, when washing on a normal load (which should take 58 minutes which is long already) and doing sheets or towels, it could take two hours or more to wash a load. Same thing if you set it on bedding (which was even worse), had to stop the washer after 2.25 hours, set on spin only and wait another 15 minutes before I could dry my clothes. How is this high efficiency??? So disappointed, reviews were good, but I am very disappointed.

LG Top load Washer

I have had a few washers over the years and always use the delicate cycle for certain garments of mine. This machine can take an hour and half due to I'm told the machine going off balance because not enough items are being washed. Just because this is a bigger tub it should not affect the delicate cycle in that way. The delicate cycle is horrible for this washer. It can also happen with other cycles at times and is not a quiet machine when running. I was very disappointed and I would have never bought this machine had I known this and have never had this problem with any other washer I've owned.

Beyond Frustrated

Still deciding

I bought this after our old washer died suddenly and so I didn't get to research as thoroughly as I would have liked. I wasn't keen on the idea of a front load but I am all my concerns about the front load I have experienced with this one. I like the notification sounds. For really dirty clothes it does fine but for normal loads there is not enough water. I have some clothes that don't even get wet during agitation.. I have to watch loads very closely to add more water. I am not sure it is working correctly. The bedding cycle is nice. Maybe I will adjust but I am beginning to think I would have liked a front load better.

Worst washer that doesn’t know how to balance

I don’t know how to start. I am not able to understand if I bought a washer or machine that is too smart and don’t t know how to wash clothes. It’s showing EU in every wash and wasting my time and energy and increasing my water bill crazily.
I just want a simple washer that wash clothes.
There is something wrong with programming making this stupid machine. Seriously they need to fix this problem asap. I am stuck with this piece of waste and don’t know what to do.

Quiet and efficient

Our new machine is quiet and efficient. It holds a lot of laundry, keeps the clothes clean, and has a lot of cleaning options.
