Great Features

Initially, this washing machine was super quiet, however 4 months into ownership, I feel I need to have it checked out as it makes noise periodically now.

ONE YEAR LATER...

I really liked the washer for the first year. I like the oversized stainless steel basket and sanitary/allergiene wash settings. Unfortunately, less than a year after I purchased it, I started receiving an error. I googled the error and found it was a child lock. Perfect. Problem solved. Although I'd literally never used the child lock, at least I knew how to resolve the error. Then, EXACTLY a year after purchase, the child lock turned itself on and could not be reversed. Contacted LG and they agreed to cover parts only. So, $155 and THREE WEEKS LATER (repair places say they are too busy...then come to the house empty handed on first visit to "diagnose"...waste of time) I had the whole sensor board replaced. Ok. Fast forward 2 months. Now the machine will not even turn on. Customer service states covering parts last time was a "one time courtesy", they will escalate the issue but do not think anything can be done. So now I have myself a $1000+ disposable washing machine and a FAMILY OF 5 with dirty laundry.

Many great features

We purchased over 6 mo. ago to replace our recalled samsung washer that looked similar but drastically different. can reach down into the washing tub without hurting your stomach and it is the same size tub , its quiet and does an outstanding job of cleaning.they really put some thought into designing this washer.I could go on but LG has done it again and made an Outstanding product .

Great capacity.

I bought them about a month ago and so far they seem to be working fine. The main complaint is the finish scratches way too easily and if you leave the door open on the dryer it stays on. It would be nice if it shut off after a few minutes.

Top Notch

we have had this machine about seven weeks and I must say there is plenty of water for what your washing and there is also a option for adding if you need it. The design of the peller and the way it performs is out standing. This machine does an exclent job cleaning. If you are looking for a great machine, this machine is the one your looking for.

Unhappy Customer

|

Twenty-two months ago I paid $750 for this washer. The start sensor has always been sensitive but now it's quit working altogether. Warranty is passed so LG will not assist. Listen...if I'm paying almost a thousand bucks for an appliance, it had better last more than 2 years. From now on I'll stick to American-made.
