I will never forget showing my husband this ladder online, he laughed at it, calling it a joke...he's has a roofing business and of course owns many ladders. I read the reviews and decided to buy it for him, if he didn't like it I would definitely could get good use out of it. He had not a clue that I ordered one, and when it arrived I surprised him with it, and insisted that he at least give it a chance. Well let's just say after he used it, he's had it on his truck ever since! I'm guessing this isn't the most masculine looking ladder, but it works hard. It's quality made, and can fit in very tight spots. I've had to use it to clean on stairs, and adjusting the height of the legs to fit the stairs is fairly simple when you get the hang of it. There is 4 latches to pull out to adjust the height. This ladder is super versatile, going from an A-frame ladder to being used as scaffold support when seperated. I even purchased the work plank and platform because I knew he could get good use out of them. Even though they are expensive it makes this ladder do so much more! I feel safe when I use it, and even safer knowing my husband is working with one. The legs are sturdy, and the feet have rubber on the bottom so I know it won't move. The steps could be a tad bit wider for my comfort but they are the size for a reason. I had started painting the inside of my home before I bought this ladder, and now painting is so much easier! I'm able to stay on the ladder and have my paint supplies with me. No more going up and down a ladder to paint. Highly recommended, it's so light that it's easy to move and almost forgot to mention how compact it can be folded for storage!
This ladder was purchased to replace a straight aluminum extension ladder. This is much more durable then the straight extension. I feel like this ladder is more sturdy when climbing onto the roof or the landings. Normally, when I am climbing a ladder I get nervous, and the extension ladder doesn't feel so steady, not the case with this Little Giant. I've been able to use this ladder inside, when cleaning the foyer lighting fixture, or when trying to reach the landing to dust, both were previously un-accessible with the extension, as I did not want to lean the ladder against my walls. I've been able to use the ladder in the garage to get items stored on shelves above the garage door, and also we've used it outside when putting up the holiday decorations for Halloween and Christmas. I gave this ladder a rating of 10 and I'd recommend this ladder to anyone looking for a good for any job type ladder.
This ladder is amazing. Not only does it fold up super compact, but it extends to 17 feet. We use the ladder for everything from painting to changing light bulbs to decorating for Christmas. It can go in countless configurations. It is very sturdy, I weigh 210 pounds and I feel very secure on the ladder. It locks into place in a wide variety of positions.
Before purchasing this Little Giant M17 Multi-Position Ladder all I had was a rickety old wooden ladder and a long metal ladder I found in the junk yard. I was very happy with the Little Giant and thought it was well worth the two hundred I paid for it. I've owned it for just over a year now and it comes in handy when I need to reach high places. I actually have a slight fear of heights, but have found it isn't quite as terrifying to get up on a roof when I use this ladder. It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble like my other ladders. The ladder is versatile because as the name implies, it can be adjusted in a variety of position. So, it is actually several ladders all in one. You can use this as an adjustable extension ladder, a staircase ladder, an a-frame ladder, and as trestle and plank scaffolding system. I've found every one of the positions useful. It's supposed to be made out of aerospace grade aluminum, and I believe it. It looks like a pretty large ladder, sturdy and one would think it is pretty heavy. It's very lightweight. This makes it easy to maneuver, which is wonderful, especially when you're hard at work. The last thing you need is a heavy ladder weighing you down. With a ladder like this it makes work easier! It's the best investment you can make, no matter if you use it at home or work, I highly recommend it.
Little Giant Ladders are extremely reliable multi-position ladders. It is very easy to set up and moves smoothly into the different positions and slots. It is a great ladder that feels very sturdy and like it will last for a very long time. Itdoes not feel cheap or wobbly at all. My husband and I purchased a very inexpensive ladder at Wal-Mart and the thing was a piece of junk! Even after locking the guards in place the ladder would still buckle out occasionally which was absolutely terrifying. He purchased this exact M17 Little Giant Ladder and it is a thousand times better than the twenty-five dollar one we were using previously. I guess the old saying "You get what you pay for" must be true because we definitely got what we paid for! The ladder was about twice the price of the other one and I really wish we would have just bought this Little Giant Ladder right from the beginning instead of throwing our money away on a dangerous ladder (the last thing you'd want)!
