I have been looking for a white 10x10 pop-up canopy with walls for awhile as I am a small business owner and we use these types of canopies for farmers markets. The one I currently use is from Academy and is purple. I feel like the white tents look much more professional. HOWEVER... I opened this tent and tried to set it up in my driveway the weekend before I had a farmers market. I didn't want to get all the way out to an event and find a surprise or problem without a way/time to resolve it. The first thing I noticed was how flimsy the frame felt. Then when my husband and I attempted to set the frame up, the metal push button that locks the top part in place popped all the way into the leg I was working on and wouldn't come out. My husband said his side had done the same, but he'd wiggled the leg and it came back out. No such luck on my side. Within 5 minutes of trying to set the thing up it was broken We tried to use a pencil to see if we could pop the push button out, but it was gone the way of the buffalo. Ok, fine, I thought, I'll just use the white canopy top and sides on my old Academy frame, which is way sturdier anyway. So i pull my old tent out and start setting it up, when lo and behold we discover that the 10'x10' Sears tent is acutally 9.75"x9.75"... so, no, I cannot in fact use the canopy and walls on my ACTUAL 10"x10" frame... I am requesting a return, not based off it breaking right away (which is ****), but because this is completely false advertising. I had my husband get the tape measure out and we took pictures showing the tent is 3" short. Maybe it doesn't matter to Sears and this 3rd party that they are saying an item has xyz dimensions when it really doesn't, but it most definitely matters to me. Even if the tent leg hadn't broken, my displays for my farmers markets are specifically designed to fit in a 10x10 space, and we use every single inch--so yes, those 3 inches make a difference and would have made this tent completely unworkable for us even if it hadn't broken right away.
