Occasional pool player........like to play at bars....but not too good at it.......bought this mainly for practice....especially long shots..... As a practice table, or just a fun game to play when company comes over, this table more than meets your needs.......compared to a slate table, naturally, it's not on that same level.........but for the beginner or occasional player or family, it is fun to play on....... This thing is heavy/bulky to handle.....so you want it delivered, rather than pick it up at a store, unless you have some strong "volunteers" and a truck, and don't mind the risk of damaging it during delivery...... We had it delivered.......I put the base together in an hour(you need a wide open floor to to do this), with power tools set on low torque......you need two people to flip it over, not too heavy.....then level the base, without the top on it...the table top though, is heavy/bulky, but you really only need two strong guys to pick it up and place it on the base....having four guys, just makes it a lot easier...once on top of the base, it's fairly easy to move the top to align the holes below and add the final bolts.......since I leveled the base already, was surprised, once the top was on, I did not have to make any more adjustments....there are two levelers under the mainframe, to correct any dips in the playing surface.......the playing surface was level with no dips, so all you do is snug them up to the top, and just recheck once everything settles, to see if there are any adjustments to be made.....thus far none.... As far as the table goes, like I said, it is great for family fun, and the occasional pool player.......it looks great........as for the polyester covering, and the 3/4" table thickness goes, only time will tell...... This came with balls, a wall rack, two cue sticks, a brush, and chalk.....the cue sticks, especially the tips, leave much to be desired....... Have to give kudos to the packaging department......they packaged this so it was protected........there are slight blemishes in the table, but you really have to look for them, to find them...... As a first pool table, or family pool table, I would recommend it.....
We purchased this table over a year ago. Within 1 week the top had to be replaced due to a tear which occurred during a low shot. Sears graciously replaced it. One year later, despite care to keep from rough plsy, the top is riddled with tears and scuff marks. I would not recommend this product.
This was a great purchase. The legs are not made of solid wood but have pieced by boards but have a plastic cover over them. Either way they are noticeable and look great. As a beginner I would recommend this. It keeps your company u entertained.
I bought this for my son and I to play. Assembly was ok except for the legs. The four plastic parts did not really fit that well. I had to use gorilla glue to keep them together.
I brought this about about a week ago and the kids have had a lot of fun with it
Bought this as a family gift for the kids to begin to learn, rather than spend their time on e-devices. Was a bit of a chore to get together, and to our basement since our doors are on the small side, but once together looks pretty good. Plays well and the kids are already itching to learn and play. A good value for the money, rather than the really small sets you usually get in the kids department
This is one of the best Pool table we, have had so much fun and it was the right price and so easy to put together. My hold family love our pool table. I would recommend this product.
