First Christmas gift for my 10 month old

Althought this says 3 years and up, it must be for a random reason to do with safety perhaps? Nothing easily comes off, so no worries there. We haven't had an issue with it tipping, either. My son got this for his first Christmas when he was 10 months old. He is now 14 months old and still plays it several times a day. AND my 6 and 9 year old play with it, too! Neat thought: they play it because it's there, in the living room with all the toys. EVERY SINGLE TIME they start playing it, within minutes they have moved to our front room and they play the big real piano. So, it's a good thought - it inspires them to play the big piano. The countless keyboard toys we've owned over the years have NEVER had the same reaction. My son was a late sitter, late crawler and still isn't even close to walking. Although he recieves in home therapy, I'm not sure he qualifies as special needs, but he is delayed, and he loves the piano. It's not quiet, BUT it's also not an irritating sound that is too loud at all, not too high pitched, not irritating. Highly recommend this product. I see myself buying another bigger version in the future when my sons balance is good enough to sit on something unassisted. This is perfect size for a sitting infant/toddler.

Broken product

We received this piano broken (wood cracked and separated). Also, one of the keys does not make any sound. Very disappointing!

Happy family with this little piano!

This piano is exactly as pictured, especially in terms of size. Our 1yr old can sit under it and play comfortably while our 3yr old has to squat or sit on his knees, which is perfectly fine. A few keys were stuck when we got it, probably from shipping. An Allen wrench removes the top of the piano, and I easily adjusted the keys. (I've never played an instrument and know nothing about them but it truly is simple.) The boys love their piano and happily pound out tunes. I look forward to teaching them songs with the booklet that is included. This is a perfect toy to encourage music at a young age!

Looking for kid's piano not a noisy toy

More of a cheap toy than a piano

|

I had great hopes for this piano. Unfortunately, I got disappointed as soon as I played the first note yesterday! It sounds more like a Xylophone than it does a piano. Some of the notes are slightly off tune (enough even for a non-musician layman like me to notice!) Finally, a couple of the keys sometimes stick to each other. So if let's say, you are pressing the C key, the D key will also be pressed! I chose this model because of the price, but I will return it and go with a better quality alternative.
