Retired engineer-pilot, very observant of aircraft / vehicle performance. These replaced OEM tires on a Camry hybrid. PRO: Very quiet and smooth, fine ride and handling, and (based on 1 encounter) sure-footed in heavy rain. CON: High rolling resistance. Fuel mileage is down more than 5mpg.

Defender T+H miserable ride

5/17 Mich site #1 rec for Lucerne tradl lux sedan = new Defender T+H. Bought set & ride = INTOLERABLY HARSH. Slightest rd flaws (ex: xwalk stripes) pounded thru chassis. Ruined ride; wd reject if free! Repld w Premier AS under Satis Guar. VAST impmt. 6/17 site apparently no longer recs for Lucerne.

Prevented a death

Put these on 2012 Mazda 3. Being a small and light weight car it always had wet surface grip problems.

Michelins T+H prevented me from killing a person that randomly drove a bicycle across the street during a late night rain storm. I was able to stop really quick without sliding or even getting ABS engaged. All on wet pavement. Grateful for these tires.

With my previous tires he or she would have been hit and thrown 10-15 feet forward

Used to be good, now...Not so long lasting (i'm retired

Im old retired guy driving sedately in my 2015 Kia Soul. My last set lasted wonderfully, however; this set lasted half that with the same retired driving style, perfect rotation and inflation, as this old guy does. I may expect +/- 5%, but this is waaay out of spec. It's like the French gave this load to the Americans to manufacture. We're moving on.

Not 4 me

Bought 4 of these installed on my Hyndai Sonata. These tires were definately not for this car. At higher speeds it was just too unstable. Interstate driving for three hours and could not relax at the wheel at all.

Didn't go the distance

When i bought these they carried a 90,000 mile claim. They have since lowered that to 80,000. I would have been happy to have gotten 50,000. Won't happen. With winter coming I will need to replace these at about 40,000. They do ride well and wear evenly but the mileage claim is very unrealistic.

Great Tires

I put these on our 2007CRV and they are by far the best tires we had on this car and maybe any car ! They are smooth riding and very quiet. This CRV model is known for road noise but these tires have just about eliminated all of that.
