1) Expectations - I'm an active Senior and I was riding a 24 year old Ladie's Columbia Mountain Bike 10 Speed. I did 540 Miles last season and 675 miles this season. So I was NOT looking for a "Toy Bicycle". Try to find any Bicycle with front DISC Brakes for under $200. 2) It took two orders to get a bicycle NOT assembled in a box, which was easy to get home. Easy Assembly. It did need some adjustments but there are great YouTube videos on setting up a Shimano SIS Derailleur. 4) I now have about 50 Miles and this is a great bicycle! 27 speeds are easier on hills. Full suspension is wonderful and DISC brakes stop even after a puddle. Great Steering too. I transferred over my front fender, electronic speedometer & water bottle. I bought a Schwinn Rear Luggage Carrier which I use daily 5) Mongoose Support - I had some pre-sales questions and I got good email responses within 24 hours! You can view the manual on line also before purchasing the bicycle. 6) Sears - Everyone is DOWN on Sears these days. Laurie in the Staten Island Store was EXTREMELY helpful! The guys in merchandise pickup had that Boxed Bicycle in my car in under 3 minutes. 7) To sum it up a great Bicycle at a Great Price. I was able to see it in the store and then order it on line. That's a great advantage! Try to find this much in a Bicycle for under $200. Thanks Sears!!!! Thanks Mongoose!!
She loved it. Brought her to tears. It made our Christmas.
