I'm a 27 year old man and I bought this for myself. I way 210 lbs and this mini bike has no problem hauling my fat behind around. I let my 11 year old brother ride it and he has a blast. I am thinking about getting one for him for his birthday. By far one of the coolest toys I have ever owned in my whole life. you wont regret this buy. Very fun for all ages.
this bike sucks it was junk from first day don't buy one
Wow I bought this for my grandson and he is enjoying it very much I’m very pleased with it
Bought as a Xmas gift 2016, June 2017 doesn't run. I think we got a few short rides in (up and down street). We are experiencing issues with it stalling when you pull back on the throttle. In an attempt to fix the issue, removed carburetor and cleaned it. Cleaned air filter and reassembled everything. Now the bike will not start at all. This product has a 90 manufacture warranty for a reason and all Monster Moto will do is refer you to a part or repair shop in your local area. I'm out the cost of the bike and fees for a repair job on a 6 month old product that was used less than 10 times. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED!!! Maybe Coleman bike would have been a better choice. IDK.
The 80cc Monster Minibike is a fun machine for the absolute beginner rider.
Its fully automatic with a braking system similar to a bicycle so its easy to use.
Performance- This is not a race bike and i don't think this is even qualified as a pit bike! Acceleration- is horrible, if you weigh more than 120lb expect to do the Fred Flintstone and use your feet to give you a boost. ??
Remove the speed limiter as soon as you get it but, that only adds a little ooomph.
You need to check the chain tension monthly or it will mess up and fall off.
If you dont use the bike regularly, the tires get dry rotted quick get flat and take the shape of the the ground permanently. So you gotta use the bike regularly.
On a plus side, if can follow instructions, you can get a bigger engine.
