I had two of these in my old garage. I bought an extra shelf and connected the two together. That gave me a work bench in the middle and shelves on each side. These things are really sturdy and easy to change shelf height. Set up was a snap as well, as long as you have room to put it all together. The only semi-gripe are the wood part of the shelves. It is just compressed particle board and it absorbs all liquids. I spilled some stuff on one and it turned the board funky colors.
Assembly directions are horrible. Shelves were cracked and need to be returned. Save your money look for something else!

Purchased these shelving units by Muscle Rack for 3 advertised reasons.

#1 Made in America

#2 No bolts, easy assembly, just slide tabs in.

#3 Assembles in minutes

Never again will we waste our money on their products. Bent frames. Chipped fiberboard shelves. Assembly almost impossible. Have NEVER been so frustrated with a product in my life.

So much for #1

I was looking for shelving that would help organize by garage. I came upon the muscle rack and it lives up to its name, sturdy.
The trhee shelves are great. Top shelve holds the smaller equipment, middle shelve is my workbench area and the bottom shelf is where I store most of my tools.
The sides of the shelving are great for hanging tools and work clothes.
I am getting two more to complete my storage in the garage.
Fantastic product, assembly was easy too. Highly recommended!
Heavy duty, super easy to assemble, 10 minutes, deep shelves. safe, will not tip over, very adjustable. The vertical piece is a single unit. The box is heavy, but you can take the parts out, and move them to a hard to get to area easily, i.e. a basement. As for shelving material, the particle board is strong, and can be covered. What is unique is that the shelving comes in 3 sections per level making it easy to install and move. They look good too. Cost per square foot of storage and time to assemble, these are the best deal! In fact, this is what the Sears store uses in Alaska to show their goods on the sales floor and this is where the largest earthquake ever hit in North America!
Other shelving units are not as large, deep,or strong, hard to assemble, they are not a single unit and can slip apart, fall apart. The metal on other systems is thin and the shelving wood is thin.
