The best headphones I've gotten for $40. Crisp, clear audio, and bluetooth capable . Easily compare to $80 headphones. Best of all, I got these when they were a member deal and got $30 points back.
I compared the sound quality of these to a Senheiser 202 stereo headphone, which is similarly priced. Nakamichi's volume is a bit louder but the Senheiser easily beats it when it comes to bass - compare a song like Clean Bandit's "Rather Be" and the Senheiser will be thumping while the Nakamichi merely gets the job done. However, these 2 units aren't necessarily direct competitors as Nakamichi's unit, though including a removable cord, has Bluetooth (for wireless listening and voice headset use) while Senheiser's unit is cord-only and no microphone for communication. If you mainly care about sound quality and don't care about needing a cord, go for the Senheiser. I haven't tested the Bluetooth function of the Nakamichi yet. One thing that is often annoying about Bluetooth headsets I've owned so far is the sound drops out in outdoor environments if the source device is more than an arm's length away. I'll be looking to see how well the Nakamichi performs
