This alarm clock radio with CD player took me awhile to set up. The instructions were not very clear, even to just set the time! I had to play with it, and kept pressing the buttons, and quite by accident, finally set the time. It says I could program 10 radio stations that I preferred, but I only could get 1 station programmed. It was rather frustrating. I also have to keep referring back to the manual when I want to change from radio to CD player, and to make sure my alarm would go on during work days, and turn it off on weekends. Also, the display that shows the time, is rather small, and since my vision is bad without my glasses, I have to bring this radio real close to my bed so I can see the time when I wake up. The only thing I like about it is that it's an alarm clock with radio and CD player.
Works nice just wish it went back to clock function after CD finishes playing
Purchased online at sears.com, worked okay for almost one year and then one day it smelled like it was on fire, a little bit of smoke came out and it shut down dead.
Returned the Naxa to the local Sears store, explained what happened to the store manager and got a no hassle gift card for the amount I had paid for it almost one year before.
Excellent Sears customer service.
Would be to complicated for a lot of people to set up They could have made this more user friendly
First off, I never received the email I was supposed to notifying my that it was in the store, so I finally went there several days after the promised delivery date but it was found. I find the controls difficult to use and the instructions not very clear. After six tries I am still unable to set the alarm. Plus the display screen does not advise one that the alarm has been set. The unit reminds of those in hotels that are impossible to figure out. The sound is also slightly hollow.
