Protects: Helps physically block out UVB burning rays and UVA skin aging rays to help prevent premature lines and wrinkles caused by the sun. Moisturizes: Lightweight non-greasy formula is fragrance free and absorbs quickly to moisturize sensitive skin. The sun's UVA and UVB rays damage skin differently. Met my need for moisturizer for sensitive skin.

I started using Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer - Sensitive Skin recently after having a severe reaction to your Rapid Repair Night Moisturizer. After visiting my dermatologist and getting three prescriptions to clear that up, I needed a new moisturizer that wasn't as heavy and oily as the one she had me using with the prescriptions she gave me to clear up the rash and inflammation I had. Now I can't find the product again in stores in my area. I was counting on ordering it direct from Neutrogena and found it is out of stock. PLEASE don't stop making this product. I am so afraid of trying anything else at this point, when this one works so well for me.

Changed ingredients

|

I use to swear by this cream. They changed the formula...now it leaves a white film on face. Very disappointing.

Good sunscreen for everyday use

|

I bought this product and used it everyday for a few weeks. I was looking for a mineral sunscreen with no fragrance, and limited comeodemic ingredients. This sunscreen includes only 2 ingredients that have a comeodemic rating, which is much less than competing sunscreens of a similar price. I use acne medication, so my skin is sensitive and I also have issues with acne. This sunscreen did not break me out, and it was light enough for everyday use and reapplication. I don't have serious issues with fragrances however I prefer to keep a fragrance free routine, as it is never listed how the fragrance is produced. One issue was that the sunscreen feels kind of like it leaves a film on the face, and left me with sort of a sweaty appearance after a few hours. I did not notice a serious white cast left by the sunscreen, however I am white and cannot speak to how it would appear on a dark complexion. My guess would be that it would make a dark skinned person appear ashy, however it could be easily diluted with a dark tinted sunscreen or something of the like to add extra protection. I plan on repurchasing as I have not found a better sunscreen for the price, especially one that is mineral which is much more effective. All in all, this is a great option for you if you wish to use a mineral sunscreen everyday and want to avoid clogging products and fragrances.

Best sunscreen for sensitive skin

|

I was looking for a mineral based, fragrance free sunscreen, and this exceeded my expectations. No burning when applied, no white cast (though I have very pale skin), no pilling under makeup, no weird smell, no breakouts. It’s reasonably priced.

So Far, So Good

|

I am very picky about the sunscreens I use, especially those for the face. My eyes & skin are sensitive to fragrance and chemical filters so I will only use mineral based products. I saw this product on a YT video which helped to see what the texture and finish are like. I am happy that this moisturizer is lightweight, hydrating and not sticky on the skin. I have dry/mature skin so I wear this sunscreen over my regular moisturizer. It is silky smooth and makes a good base for makeup. It does have a slight cast to it but fades after it dries down. The first time I used it was at a baseball game where I was sitting in full sunshine. I'm happy to report that this product protected my face and neck throughout the game!
