Great treadmill

Great treadmill. Has a hdmi output so if you want to do a ifit coached workout video you can view it on the television or the screen on the treadmill. There are many vidoes built in to the machine so no requirement for any additional subscription cost.  The width is slightly narrower than other machines but i do not find that to be an issue at all.

Buyer Beware - Sears sold me a broken NordicTrack

Ordering from Sears is an absolute nightmare -- we purchased from the website because they were running a Holiday promotion. Do yourself a favor and order directly from NordicTrack or any other retailer -- do not use Sears. They scheduled a delivery date about 10 days out. The night before delivery, they delayed the shipment by another day, without explanation. They rescheduled for the next day and give you a two hour window they will deliver within (in this case, 2-4pm). The delivery company they work with called at 11:45am to 'let me know' they were 15 minutes away. I told them this wouldn't work, and to honor their time window provided. They delivered at 4pm and upon opening the box, the frame of the treadmill was cracked. I have spoken with four customer support agents on the phone since then, and my options are: 1. Request a replacement part directly from NordicTrack (with no guarantee that other parts of the treadmill weren't also damaged in transit), someone will call 24-48 hours to determine what part I need. 2. Request a replacement treadmill/exchange: Earliest available exchange is 7 days out (while in the mean time an unusable 6 foot treadmill sits in our entry). 3. Request a return for a refund: Sears is "Not sure" when someone can pick up broken treadmill, broken treadmill sits in my entry for indeterminate days until someone decides to pick it up. There is no sense of urgency, nor any focus on customer service on an item costing in the thousands of dollars. This is hands down the worst customer experience I have encountered from any company. Impossible to contact Nordic Track to activate iFit

I don't understand how NordicTrack is still in business.

Problem 1
Upon setting up the treadmill, the iFit software immediately notifies you that an update is available. Click the button to update and it shows you an error screen. This notification is shown frequently and there is no way to update the software.

Problem 2
This treadmill is supposed to come with a 1 YR iFit membership. No information on that is provided.

Supposed Solution
Try contacting iFit / NordicTrack support (same company). It's impossible. I've called twice and waited over an hour on hold both times before giving up.

I've emailed their support twice and no reply.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen from any company. I will be returning this product as I can only imagine what it would be like if something were to break and require warranty service..

Ifit

I got a ‘free’ years subscription to iFit. Spent a long time on the phone trying to find someone who would know where I could find the code that the iFit app wants to get me into the program. Sears, iFit, Nordictrack, on-line. . No one knew where I would find it. so I like the treadmill but sure would like to have access to iFit. As for a recommendation, if the iFit is important it would be a no.
