DO NOT BUY A TREADMILL FROM SEARS! We had the worst experience. We purchased a treadmill less than 2 months ago. A few weeks after having the treadmill, the motor broke. NordicTrack sent us a new motor (we had to repair ourselves). The treadmill worked for a few more weeks, and then it broke down again. Sears has given us the worst customer service. They will not take back the faulty product because it has been over 30 days (we've had this treadmill for under 2 months). Save yourself some time and money...buy a treadmill elsewhere.
First, very impressed with Sears. Bought this online without difficulty and it arrived in the 2 hour scheduled delivery window as promised. Second, treadmill wasn’t too bad to set-up. You do need 2 people for part of the installation, but overall had it done in under 3 hours. Finally, the treadmill works great. It gets up to speed quickly and is quiet. Good soft platform for running on too (you can increase the firmness if you want). Overall, very happy with this purchase.
I primarily use this treadmill to track my walking progress. What I don't like about this particular machine is that if I start my work out and have to stop the work out for more than 9 minutes my progress report is cleared from the machine's memory. You must resume your workout within 9 minutes for the machine to retain your current progress information. It would have been helpful if the summary would stay on screen until machine is turn off, or cleared by the user or for at least a minimum of 30 minutes. I used to be able to stop my workout on my previous treadmill for sometime and be able to return and pick up where I left off.
