This is a great treadmill. Plenty of settings and different workout programs, and making adjustments to how you want to exercise aren't that hard. It look a little over 2 hours to put together, and definitely need a 2nd set of hands. Like another reviewer said there was one spot (when putting on the bottom of the pulse bar) where the screws were too big and wouldn't fit, so make sure to either have an assortment of screws lying around or be prepared to run to the hardware store (sorry don't remember the correct size). It isn't hard to put into storage mode, glides easy when moving it around, and the hydraulic basically lowers it for you when ready to workout again. I don't use the fan but my wife loves it. The stereo plug-in is awesome, and the speakers sound good compared to what I expected. Definitely recommended. It's hard to ask for more for the price.
Don't buy it, biggest piece of junk ! First treadmill belt would not track right,NordicTrac set tech out.2 weeks later belt still did not track right and motor went bad.Nordictrac sent new treadmill, put it together bad motor and many plastic parts broken right out of box.Tech came out fixed all problems and installed new motor.Belt on this one doesn't track right either.NordicTrac is not what it use to be and customer service HORRIBLE for both NordicTrac and Sears.
This is our 3rd treadmill over many years use, and this is the worst by far. It broke down right before the end of year 1, and Sears customer support said to call Nordictrack. Nordictrack sent first a new circuit board (didn't fix it) and then a new motor, both of which my husband and I had to install after looking at Nordictrack's recommended videos on youtube. Now after 2 months with the new motor, this motor is exhibiting the same symptoms the old one did before it totally quit, so we're shopping for a better treadmill. It won't be a Nordictrack. (We use the treadmill daily for walking, not running.)
I gave this treadmill a pretty good rating (under a different screen name, they won't allow editing) shortly after i bought it. With apologies to the 11 people who found that rating helpful, I'm back with a not so rosy picture. After 265 hours of use and 7 months after purchase, a connecting bolt for the deck sheared off, dislodging one side of the deck from the frame. Two weeks after calling for service I'm still waiting, although the holidays might make the delay understandable.
Because I'm impatient, I found a same size bolt and replaced it myself, finding out in so doing the motor cover is cracked (probably happened when the deck came loose) and won't snap back in place, resulting in a horrendous noise when I run. Guess I'll keep the service call appointment.
Conclusion, this is not a treadmill intended for anything more than very light use, and the materials used are cheap and fragile. I would recommend not going with Nordic Track - it's too bad, it's a brand name we used to associate with quality, but I'm afraid not so much anymore.

Poor quality equipment. Motor and control panel burned out before even 4 months old with minimal usage.
Run away from this product.
I purchased this from Tacoma Mall Sears. It was purchased on June18th and picked up on the 21. Had to wait for help to put it together. I used it twice. The tread will not stay balanced but worse the motor has now burned out. It has only 6 miles on it. Sears refuses to take it back. So I contacted the manufacture and they listened to the noise of the treadmill and also agreed the motor is burned out. It will be maybe 3-4 weeks before they can mail me out a new motor which I am suppose to install myself. I have never had such bad customer service from Sears or NordicTrack. Did I mention they have a huge back order on the motors. In other words this product has a bad motor and they know it.
