So far this has been a really good machine. I have waited a very long time to make this purchase and I am very happy with my decision. This model offers many desireable features, one of them being able to fold up as well as blue tooth compatible. I personally find it to be a bit loud, but we looked up other reviews and believe a little belt oil would be a big help with that. As far as the speaker, I find it to be much better quality/sound than I had originally expected. Overall I am extremely happy and would make the purchase again, if given the chance.
We purchased this treadmill only to find out after delivery and setup that it is non-useable without a costly monthy membership to ifit (approx $15 monthly). Meaning, you turn it on and the screen instructs you activate ifit and will do nothing until this is done and your credit card number is entered. As of this posting, this requirement is not noted ANYWHERE in the specs or in the operators manual, nor was it disclosed by the sales associate in the store upon purchase. Several hours of phone calls to Nordic Track, ifit, and Sears yielded each company blaming each other for this debacle. Nordic Track and ifit insist its an agreement with Sears, where as not a single Sears associate from the store level, district level, or customer service has any knowledge of any such agreement. In all my years of being a consumer, I've NEVER encountered such a scam perpetuated by such a well-known company, compounded by the unwillingness of all parties involved to offer any solutions to make it right for the customers who were tricked into purchasing equipment they cannot use. NOTE- after several days of follow up, a store associate was able to find an override - hold down the bluetooth button for thirty seconds until you hear three beeps, then you should be able to use it.
Just received my treadmill the set up was very quick ... The delivery men were very nice showed me all i needed to know ... I have read so many bad reviews about having to sign up with ifit ... Hold down Bluetooth until it bypasses the ifit very simple...
Purchase the treadmill on Jan18, didn't get it Feb 9. The last team that came through with the delivery were top notch everything went well. The treadmill is nice. I had a problem with Activation with Ifit.....they needed my credit card to active it so it would work. I didn't want this service and now I need to see if I can cancel the $396 program. This was never address in the sale, delivery or install. It's doesn't take much to understand why Sears is loosing business with this type of program in place. Not sure if I will purchase using companies that use sales tools like this. I own a small business....I would never build in any practice like this.
