Great Value

I think this unit is a great value. My wife and I researched several models at different retailers and where honestly surprised that this was the best value. I weigh about 200 pounds and it works well for me as well as my 120 pound wife. I noticed that some of the bad reviews are from people who assembled the unit themselves...pay a little extra and have the pro's assemble it for you. They check it out and make sure it is correct. Test run on the unit while the guys are there. My only complaint is the graphic display with its panoramic view looks odd to me. In summary, I was pleasantly surprised with the entire process: Price, Value, Delivery, Set-up and Use.

Do not put this together yourself!

I have been waiting 5 years to buy a treadmill. I went to the Sears in Johnson City and bought one about 1 month ago, not in stock had to come back 1 week later. Salesman was a fast talker and talked us into this and to buy the extended warranty. That the company that service these comes out right away when you call them. He also said it would take 1 hour to put it together. It took my husband and I 4 nights to put it together. It worked really nice for the first 4 times I used it. Then One day that I started it and it wouldn't go faster then 3 or incline. Called the company that services these and they troubled shooted with me, after I had already done so myself before calling. She decided to send me a card that would reboot the machine and it would go back to normal. Called again the next day because of what the JC Sears saleman told me that they (the service company) would come out and fix it. Another woman troubled shooted with me and is sending me a new control panel. Should reach me 7-10 working days. I'm on day 5 and not happy I spent so much money and I'm getting nothing for it! DO NOT PUT THIS TOGETHER YOURSELF. IT IS MISERABLE.

If you purchase, Have your dealer deliver and install. This POS has 900 tiny screws and pieces. It's a royal pain, and when you finally get done building it yourself, if it doesn't work you are screwed,,,, I work on Porsches and build things for my living and still can't make the wretched thing work. We set it aside to work on later, and use the space to set up an extra guest bedroom, now 18 mos later I again put it all back together(it's too heavy to move as a whole unit) and the POS still doesn't work.  The board lights up, the tilt works to "2" and that's it!  So for the money, my recommendations, get as much warranty as you can if building it on your own, and if you can afford an extra $150 and a 5 week wait, have yourselves deliver and build it,, I still have a $1500 paper weight because I didn't,
