Fantastic

Great unit. Very sturdy. Had a little bit of a firmware update issue in the beginning but issue fixed itself overnight. It has many features. I love it. Dollars well spent.

Nordictrack E 14.5 Elliptical Not Good Broke Down Twice

Nordictrack E 14.5 Elliptical I purchased this model aprox 20 days ago. I used sears installation to install. The first workout went smooth, nice and quiet. The web browser is nice, a little tough to use, but once it's set it works good. The second workout is when I noticed things to break down. On the second workout strange grinding noises began surfacing. On the third workout, a bolt that holds the swinging arm came flying off. Ok , I just spent 1500 bucks and this thing has broken down already great. I called sears to have them come out with a new one. On the 5th workout another bolt came flying off. I took pictures of the damage and decided to return it back to sears. The web browser and negative incline feature are nice, it's feature packed but keeps breaking down, for more info google Nordictrack E 14.5 Elliptical Not Good Broke Down Twice.

Not perfect but...

Nordictrack customer service was helpful. The left pedal broke off (after a year of owning it) while I was working out and bruised my left shin bone. I reported the accident and sent pics to Nordictrack and they fixed the broken pedal. It took the repair tech a couple trips to my house until I felt safe to use it again and was re-assured that the pedal was fixed. It still makes squeaky noises though which is annoying!

Love my Elliptical

|

I bought my Elliptical E 14.5 in January 2014. I love my elliptical. My husband and I assembled the elliptical in about 2 hours; it was easy to assemble with the directions. I love the built-in custom programs; I can choose from different workouts and I am never bored with a workout because there are so many options. The fan is such a nice option and a color touch display is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend the E 14.5.

Don't Buy it! Poor Quality and Many Manufacturing Defects!!

|

In early March ?13 and after lots of internet research regarding ellipticals, my wife and I purchased this NordicTrack E14.5 elliptical which is manufactured by ICON and sold at our local Sears store. We were drawn to the 35lb fly wheel and the decline feature. Little did we know that our nightmare was just about to begin. After several long weeks and three separate deliveries of this horrible NordicTrack E14.5 elliptical of poor quality (broken/chipped plastic and many scratches on the metal parts), manufacturing defects (screw holes that didn?t line up that caused the console not connect to the base unit properly) and electronic console issues (never ending firmware updates loops that made the entire unit unusable since the console controls everything) similar to other elipticals manufactured by ICON (the EPIC A35E). I would not recommend this NordicTrack E14.5 u
