Getting started

Good machine with lots of extras. I assembled it myself in about 2 hours. Very smooth to work out on. The Iditarod feature is a little weak and took some programming. All in all I like it very much.

Will not go together. Is a complete joke

After a month of trying to find a good Elliptical I bought this one thinking that it would be a good purchase. Now I will be returning it in pieces and parts. There is a steel rod that your suppose to slide through the center of the upright. That rod must be pounded in. Its made too big and does not fit right. Then the arms that go on each side must be pounded onto the rod. You can get the first one pounded on but not the second. When you try to pound it on then it just pushes the bearing out the other side of the first arm. This design is a JOKE. How this is made is a JOKE. Not worth the money and you will never be able to put it together much less enjoy using something you just spent almost a grand on.

Broken power cable at purchase. To fix myself.

They send a new power cable. I had to change it myself. That was not user friendly. Why is there not just a plug installed for the cable?

Locked Down Tight

I have now owned this elliptical for 2 years will regular use. It has recently stated making a loud clunking sound with each rotation of the crank. I was able to disassemble most of the machine for regular cleaning and greasing, the problem cam when I attempted to disassemble the roller from the crank. It appears that someone in a factory somewhere thought that is would be a good idea to thoroughly coat the crankshaft bolt with lock tight, making it near impossible to remove the arm for greasing. I was able to get one of the bolts out with a small breaker bar but stripped the Allen bolt on the other side. If your going to apply that much lock tight to a bolt, it would be better to use a her head bold rather than an Allen bolt. I'm now trying to figure out how I can remove this recessed Allen bolt from the crank (Eeer!). I was able to preform a belt change on the machine but it was much more difficult than it should have been due to the crank guards being in the way.

I love this elliptical. I have used it almost everyday since I got it. We got a very good deal and Gary was very helpful.
