I have had this elliptical for 1.5 years now and I still love it! I run 5 miles a day on it and it has held up so well I'm amazed with it! I would suggest this elliptical to anyone and if I ever do have to get a new one I'd get another NordicTrack in a heart beat!
First annoyance is the constant bombardment with signing up for iFit. However the main issue is that the incline sensor has failed and the motor can overdrive cracking the plastic covers. even worse I have spent over an hour on hold hoping to speak to customer service at Icon/Nordictrack. I would avoid all products supported by Icon. Products should not cost this much with ZERO support.
This was our very first elliptical. After reading countless reviews, and trying out different ones in person, we decided this one had all the features we needed for the best price. We purchased it during Black Friday Sale so we received and extra $100 off the sale price. I love the fact that the mount for tablet/mobile device is so high. It keeps my form upright when watching the screen and not hunched. I also enjoy the various locations that the elliptical allows us to traverse daily. The only downside is unless you pay the subscription fee, you can't select other routes. The free version only allows you to select whatever the route of the day is. The on-board fan is also a very nice bonus. Believe it or not, such a small fan makes a big difference when you're breaking a sweat. We are overall extremely pleased with this elliptical and definitely recommend it.
This machine was bought by my wife and I to assist with lifestyle change ! It is built solid . The support staff at icore were great with a replacement part as well as obtaining the iFit code for access
The machine itself is great (hence the 3 stars). However, it is integrated with iFit Coach (which costs $33/mo) so that you constantly have to say "no" to get to the NordicTrack options (hence the down rating of 2 stars). I signed up for the free membership but plan to cancel that as iFit is not flexible nor very user friendly.
The monitor never worked. I went to sears and they said that they could not do anything, that i would have to contact the manufacturer. I emailed Norditrack (3 times) and never received any replies other than the auto reply that someone would get back to me. Complete waste of time and money! I will definitely be returning this to Sears for a fill refund.
