This treadmill is the best!! Super sturdy and comfortable for my daily runs. I have put up to 13 miles at a time and never had any issues
I had Sears install and assemble. Electric fan motors caught fire 7 months after purchase. Smoke bellowed out of the console. Support sent a new console in mail in a few weeks. No instructions. Figuring out how to replace console I realized the Sears installers cut corners during assembly. Did not properly assemble certain parts of the treadmill. The sears assemblers did not fully tighten all bolts and did not use all the screws, skipping steps in the install. Very disappointed.
I would love to be running on it and giving a rating. But it was supposed to be shipped to my local Sears. I received emails saying it was there but the employees couldn't find it. Said they might be able to find it in 3 to 5 days. I called customer support and was also told 3 to 5 days. Cancelled order. Totally unacceptable
I purchased the week before Christmas from Sears. Showed up in three days, took 5 hours to put together. That may be as they recommended two people to assemble I only had myself. Went to turn on and it only beeped. Read instructions troubleshooting and nothing. Called Nordictrack and was told customer service closed for training. Not smart during working hours on a new product purchase. Called back and pressed the button for new purchase. Surprise got a guy told him I made the purchase. He told me the only way to get the machine to work is purchasing the IFit online program for $180 per year. I said I was told at Sears a override exist to run in normal mode. He said no you must purchase the online program. So I said I’m going to return the treadmill. He said good idea call sears back. After 5 hours to put it together I decided to call Sears back and their technical support walked me through the override process. It works. Although you have to use the override process frequently. I don’t recommend Norditrack especially the lack of customer service.
Sears was great, but not NordicTrack. I got the machine on the 9th and on the 25th the incline shot to 15 without being touched and wouldn't budge. Caused my wife to fall. It didn't work after 3 weeks. No amount of button pushing or anything else would change to position. The manual says call NordicTrack. Only if you have a day to be on hold. They make the IRS look good. No customer service. They push extended warranty service that is more than the cost of the gym. I am going back to Sears to return it. Not worth the price.
I love it it. This is the best treadmill that I have purchased thus far. It has many features, dual fans, nice speakers, nice hydraulics.
