Five star so far

This is only my second day with the bike, but I wanted to start my review as soon as possible. Here is what has happened thus far: Bike was delivered and set up by two technicians. I didn't want to set it up myself just in case something went wrong. The two technicians were very knowledgeable on setting up exercise equipment. They put it together with ease and then had me try it to make sure everything was working. I found a minor issue with a loose screw and they were quick to tighten it. I signed off on the paperwork and the technicians cleaned up and left. I am very satisfied with setup and delivery. I put my gym cloths on and tried out a 30 minute workout on the bike. Keeping a steady pace between 22 and 25 MPH, and a resistance between 2 to 4, I completed 10 miles. During the 10 miles there were times that I would push myself to speed up, thus pushing the cycle to perform. It's at this point that you find out if the equipment you're working with is worthy. The 5.4 passed it's first test with flying colors and is worthy. More tests forth coming, but 5 star thus far...

Poor Warranty Service

We ordered this bike for my wife's ACL surgery recovery in March. The bike was delivered to our home within a week. After easy assembly, we noticed the resistance didn't work and the bike was really hard to pedal. The instructions said to contact Nordic Track directly for warranty service. After 10+ phone calls and numerous emails it took over 3 months to get the bike repaired. Nordic Track seemed to care less and had horrible customer service. Buy a different bike!

assembly nightmare

|

This bike is ridiculous to put together, so many parts and they make the screws in positions where you can only do small little 1/4 inch turns and of course you can only use the specific tools they provide. This is beyond ridiculous. If i finally get this thing put together and it doesnt work like a lot of these reviews say I will be dropping it off at your main location. ABSURD! SHOULD NOT TAKE OVER 2 HOURS TO PUT TOGETHER A BIKE

Disappointed

|

While the bike itself is great I am giving it only 3 stars for the following reasons:
1- I didn’t get an activation code for my free 1 year subscription to iFit and after being transferred to 5 people at Sears I still do not have one. I was told I would receive it in an email which has still not happened.
2- The seat is very uncomfortable and the back is extremely hard.
I would think long and hard before ordering this bike!
