A great treadmill at an amazing price!

This treadmill is identical to the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 but at 3/4 of the manufacturer's "sale" price. Plus, with the Elite 7760, you get a tablet holder and second more powerful blower (fan) beneath the console. The 14" display is amazing. I suppose it's not as nice as the 22" display on the NordicTrack Commercial 2950, but at almost twice the price for the Commercial 2950, the larger screen is not worth it in my opinion. The manufacturer doesn't provide specs on pixel density of their displays so it's possible the picture quality on the 22" display is low compared with the 14" display if they both have the same screen resolutions (e.g. 1920x1080). This also comes with a one year family iFit membership - that's a $400 value. I love the workout programs; they make a 30 minute run on the treadmill go by really quick. The treadmill took about 2 hours to assemble on my own. In hindsight, I wished I bought the Delivery + Assembly option. The assemble wasn't that bad, but standard delivery is suppose to include delivery the treadmill to a room of your choice. But there is no way the two guys delivering the treadmill were going to be able to carry the treadmill to my basement. At over 300 lbs they needed a forklift to get the box to my garage. My wife and I could barely carry just the based of the treadmill to the basement.

absolutely LOOOOVVEE this treadmill

This is EXACTLY the same as the NordicTrack 2450 but at a discount! Spec for spec, it is the same..only difference is that this model sold exclusively to Sears has a 3rd fan on the compartment tray (score!). Typically, you are unable to use the screen for anything but iFit programs, but if you look up Nelson Munoz on youtube, he found a way to upload netflix and use the browser on NordicTrack machines...and it works! Trust me, I wouldnt have bought this treadmill if i couldnt use the screen for anything but iFit! The whole family is loves that they can work out and watch whatever they want. The only drawback is that you cant use headphones with this treadmill...it is bluetooth input only (meaning you can play your playlist off your phone and the sound will come out the speakers, but you cant connect your wireless headphones). After seeing another persons review for the the NordicTrack 2450, saw that a cheap fix is to buy a bluetooth receiver ($16 ******), but you'd think headphone capabilities (wired or wireless) would be standard... Other than that...and using Nelson's internet hack...i couldnt be happier with this purchase.

Quirky Touch Screen

|

I paid for professional assembly of this treadmill and the owner's manual says not to use power tools, so, of course, the assembly person used power tools. I could hear grating noises during the assembly so I would not be surprised if some of the threads got stripped. I hope I never have to take the treadmill apart.

I took two stars off my rating because I often have to press the "buttons" on the touchscreen multiple times before I get a response. Also, the volume control for the treadmill speakers goes up and down in large increments. Sometimes that is alright, but I often find myself using the volume control on my music player instead.

On the positive side, I very much enjoy the built-in fans. I have been to numerous health clubs over the years and I never used a treadmill with its own fan. Additionally, the bluetooth connection to my Sony music player is automatic every time I turn on the treadmill. And there are separate volume controls for the trainer and music so that you can silence the trainer and just listen to the music while you watch the scenery go by.

I am not sure yet if I will keep the Ifit subscription once the free trial runs out. There is no search function for finding what type of workout you want, although each one is assigned an intensity level. The monthly fee seems a tad bit too high. I will see if they have any deals for a prepaid membership when the time comes.
