Before buying this bike, I looked at some of the reviews and found that many of the negative reviews were not really about the bike, but more about the iFit app. I have found that the bike is built to be quite sturdy. There is little to no flex in the frame and it certainly does not wobble while in use. The seat and handle bars can be adjusted to fit most any body type/size. Without the app, it has a number of internal workouts and can be used manually. With the app (loaded on a tablet), it allows you to have a much more immersive experience. You can join a spinner class or cycle through some beautiful landscapes. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it does not integrate well with my other lifestyle apps. But as a stand alone piece of equipment, it is well made and will get the job done ... assuming that you use it. ;)
I was excited to get this bike, Just got it today. Spent quite awhile putting it together. Got to the last part to put the pedals on. No way will they go on. And yes, had the right one on the right side. was like the hole in the arm is too small for the pedal part that screws in. Same on the left. Called sears, it is going back tomorrow. So unhappy, really wanted this to work.
I bought this bike 1 month ago. Price, futures and quality very good when you compare to the others. Excellent for small rooms.
Got this said nothing about it not coming w a power source. I bought an elliptical that took batteries. It said it need batteries to work. Bought this said nothing now I am sitting w a dead piece of hardware I my living room. Doesn’t do **** cause there’s no power cord or a place to put batteries. I am pissed. On top of recently taking a chance of buying this from sears I just spent almost 1300 on a dishwasher hope to ******* god it works because this isn’t going over well and I can’t even find links on my purchase to report issues or missing components.
When setting this up I got to a point where I needed to go online and register with iFit in order to be able to use the bike. You do not have an option. You then had to register and put in your credit card and while they waived the first year fee of $180, it's on you to cancel before next year or they will charge you. Skip all this. Just hold the iFit button down for 30 seconds and that allows you to use the bike. Very deceptive how they have this setup in trying to build up membership numbers to the service. Not Sears fault, although it might be beneficial to add this to the product page, but on Nordic Track and their parent company Icon Fitness. The bike itself is fine for what it is in terms of the price, but the iFit membership requirement is not a good business practice.
