My wife broked a similar products from Sports Authority twice, and then we purchased this one from Nordic Track/Sears. It's a bit "harder" on the feet, but more durably constructed. It's also about $10 cheaper!
I read numerous reviews on this product before buying and it was simple to assemble. The bad part...the knob that makes the pedals go up and down was impossible to turn. It never went in all the way and the pedals never went up. It looks as if something is jammed inside the hole and turning the knob is not enough to push the metal rod that forces the pedals up. I picked this up today and will return it tomorrow. Incredibly disappointed and really mad that I wasted my 50 bucks on this piece of crap.
I brought this about a month ago and since the third time there’s been a LOUD squeaking noise. It is annoying and makes me not want to use it. If you can ignore the noise it’s a good purchase
I like this stepper very much. It's smaller than the one I used in the past, but now I am used to that feature and am enjoying the compactness of the unit.
