Bought this to replace a Proform that was getting old and seen better days. Didn't have any problems putting it together following the included directions. The only thing they failed to mention is that you would need a 9/16 wrench or a crescent wrench. Wasn't really an issue just a trip to the garage. The directions say it takes 2 people, which might make it a little quicker but it can be done by one person with a little Yankee ingenuity. Logged about 15 miles and several hours on it now and it is working well. I only walk on it and from what I have read it doesn't have enough HP for sustained running. The incline is smooth both up and down. It is much quieter than my old proform. I also like the 20" wide belt compared to the 16" of the old one. Speed transitions between speeds very smoothly. When starting it slowly builds speed so it's easy to start walking. There are a few things that I wish it had but it had, such as Bluetooth for the speakers & a cool down function. You can cool down but you have to control it manually. Neither of these ate deal breakers at this price point. It has 20 programed workout but I use the manual mode so can't attest to their usefulness. I also didn't purchase the iFit module so I can't say anything about that function either. Can't really tell much difference between the 2 bed firmness settings. I have it set on the road setting and it walks well. It has a hydraulic shock the helps raising the bed, it also makes for a hands free putting the bed down. Release the catch start it down and let it go, the bed will gently go down to the floor. The instruction say to use a surge suppressor and to unplug it when not in use to save from wearing out the electronics which really doesn't make a lot of sense to me but to be safe I have it plugged into a powerstrip surge suppressor with an on/off switch. I just turn the power strip off when not in use.
The treadmill is ok as in it serves its purpose however after about 6 months of purchasing it started making a loud noise when in use. I called the company and they literally wanted us to try fixing it ourself. I explained that its under warranty and we have no one here that is experienced in fixing treadmills and that we shouldn't have to that they should send someone to fix it. They continued on saying they want the customer to try fixing it first in case its a small issue and they don't need to send someone. After awhile I became quite mad and told THEY better send someone. Needless to say when they sent someone it was a bad motor that had to be ordered and the technician said they had a batch of bad motors. This was the poorest customer service I have ever experienced out of a company and honestly will probably never purchase another Nordic Track product for this reason.
Solid product. Very happy with the quality Feels like a gym treadmill. Good programmed workouts. Or you can program as you go. Good incline. ...now if I had only used it as after as I should...
I replaced the drive motor in my treadmill. Ordering the part and delivery was quick and easy. Great experience.
Great price great product. Whole family loves it.
My Wife and are are pleased with the Treadmill, but when I contacted customer service regarding 2 plastic panels on the base that were damaged, I get an email stating that someone would get back to me soon, but never hear back from anyone. They're very attentive and available before a purchase, but not so much when you need them afterwards... I would recommend your products to a friend, but would warn them about the poor customer service..!! Very disappointed with customer service after purchase..!!
we really enjoy using the NordicTrack T 6.5S Treadmill. Use about five times a week. Easy to assemble and a great machine.
