I got this as a gift from my parents a couple years ago and was very weary about using it since it was so cheap(money-wise). I'm really happy with that it turned out better than expected! I've backpacked multiple times with it and all my friends were impressed with its size, shape, weight, and were taken back that it was from kmart. I've had 4 adults sleep in it before. It was a really close squeeze, but doable for an emergency. It stays rather warm. It doesn't come with a ground cloth, so I use an cheap one I bought separately. During a big storm I did have some trouble; water soaked through the walls and started puddling on the bottom. I didn't mind it that much since I was hiking out that day, but shortly after I sprayed it with waterproofing spray. I'm going to test if it's actually 4 seasons this winter! I personally think it's a great investment for only $40, especially if you're poor like the college student I am!
It *****..do not purchase.leaks at the seams, door zipper breaks, can't set up in rain, basically a 9x5,flaps only hold 1 pair boots a piece,RED stands out like sore thumb, hood pole is to longnet pocket in worst spot ever, net for top is shorter on 1 length side so everything falls out, would not recommend, gotta cover entire tent with tarp to the ground or will get moisture inside,no matter how much water proffer you use. Better off to pitch a tarp with 2 poles with a tarp on the ground.can only fit 2 adults and 2 packs, with no room to move.needless to say don't buy garbage, buy TARPS.....!!!!!!
I haven't had a chance to use, but, looking forward to it. The handles came torn and that was disappointing. No way it wasn't noticed before shipping, yet they chose to send it off to a paying customer anyway.
