Outdoor Life

This tent is so much more than they say it is...I have recently been injured and was forced out of work which cost me my entire savings. I was evicted on my crutches. Yea bummer but I was able to secure a safe spot in the woods and this tent and now I live in it! I can't tell you how much this tent has exceeded my expectations! I have run an extension cord and a coaxial cable in to my TV and a couple of lamps. the last two nights I have endured severe thunderstorms and high winds without a single drop of water entering the living space. The front porch allows me to keep the front two windows open even in a downpour without anything getting wet. It is easy to ventilate during the heat of the day as well by opening the zippers to expose the screens on the front and back doors. The hanging storage that comes with the tent is very handy. I have of course followed the directions for set up and they were quite easy to follow. I did need a hand for about ten minutes but I am confident that with adequate space, I could have set the entire tent up on my own even with my still extremely tender ankles. This tent is so functional that I plan on living in it until it gets just too cold to handle anymore. You will not be disappointed in this product if you purchase it and you actually plan on using it! Follow the directions and tie down and stake the tent where instructed and it will withstand heavy rains and moderate winds. I love this tent! Thanks so much for helping me survive this terrible time. I have plenty of room and am very comfortable because of The Northwest Territory Front Porch Tent!

Huge disappointment!

Long story short, we set our tent up and found 3 holes in the side wall of the floor. The tent otherwise looked like it was good quality. We can't attest to how well it holds up on a trip because we never got to use it. We returned it and ordered the exact same tent (it would totally fit our needs if not damaged) The second tent arrived and we had it all set up when we found holes in the screening. Again we packed it up and returned it ordering our third and hoping it would be perfect. We didn't even have to open the box with the poles to set this one up, it had two 3" cuts (looked like it had been sliced with a razor) on the floor of the tent. We went no further, packed it up and returned it for our money back. So disappointed, and still looking for a suitable family tent.

If you like big space inside your tent and if you like something easy to set up, this tent won’t disappoint you. Yeah, it’s big (HUGE) but it’s perfect for us. We are a family of 4 but we have a queen size inflatable bed, a twin size and a crib. We fit perfectly in there. So yes I would recomen it to anybody. Specially if you find it on sale! It’s a MUST! (I didn’t receive anything for this review).

Unsurprisingly our review on this USELESS product didn’t post. Usually we camp with quality tents from REI but decided to try the Kmart option for our family trip due to its size and supposed quality and value for $$. After reviewing very simple instructions and video reviews online we went to set up for our first night with 3 kids 5 and under and one of the poor quality roof center poles  cracked at the joint before we had even raised it off the ground!!!! This left us in the middle of nowhere with little kids and a broken tent that we had to make do with for the night before returning it the next day. Tried to return and Kmart systems were down which meant couldn’t do return with the original packing slip for an online buy? What on earth!. No surprise Kmarts failing. Avoid TENT & KMART

Easy to set up. Lots of room. NOT a Winter tent. Will be great for Summer.
