After using this product for over 30 years it saddens me to find a new scent. The spray bottle does NOT smell like the red cap cologne. Which is not available as far as I can tell. Ditch the spray top and bring back the original.
I’ve been using old spice aftershave for many years now and the classic scent is not what it used to be. I really wish they would go back to the way it used to be made. Otherwise I might have to go with a new aftershave.
I sampled it for the first time recently and really enjoyed it! Not too domineering but effectively scented... The cologne lasted several hours after shaving... I?ve always liked Old Spice deodorants and body washes, now I like the classic aftershave cologne as well. Fairly priced and accessible in retail/grocery stores... good luck!
I am about 55 and have been using Old Spice for over 30 years. Well, until P&G decided to change the fragrances. When they changed the deos at least the packaging was also changed, but I think it was unethical to retain the old names ('original', musk, lime). But for after shaves it is outright unethical for them to change the fragrances in exactly the same old packaging.
A fragrance that competes with high end colognes for one-tenth the price.
I grew up in the 1950's. My Dad used Old Spice and so did I as a teenager. Greatest long lasting smell on the face of the earth. Todays product does not smell as strong or last as long. Bring back the original formula! Please!
I remember how wonderful my dad smelled when he used Old Spice. Today?s product is not the same. Stop fixing things that don?t need to be fixed. Product changes aren't always the best deal. In this case, your product change was horrible, and certainly not wanted. If it's tried and true, leave it alone, and let it continue to be 'tried and true'. Bring back the ?Original?, and then leave it alone!
