The item was everything described by the sears site. I loved I could order from online and I picked it up the next day from the store. The roaster was the exact size I wanted it was wonderfully priced. I think the in store pick up was great I have it in time for the holidays. I love that it can in black which goes great with my kitchen. I am thinking of getting another for my mother so that she can use one for roasting her food as well. I think this roaster will replace my slow cooker recipes. I love to cook pork shoulders and this will allow me to cook more than one with the space and depth the roaster has. I love it I will most definitely recommend to all my family and friends to look into getting one for parties or big family dinners. Also I was able to use my shop your way discount.
I'm not a cook so when I used this everything came out great. Very efficient, easy to clean.
This was my first time using a roaster. At first inspection I thought it was a fairly simple, not a lot of "extras" but later discovered you really wouldn't need anything more. I used it to roast a whole chicken. Typically I use oven bags because the meat is so juicy but actually found this to be much easier. The meat was juicy, the cook time was the same and the cleanup was very easy. The nonstick surface wiped off easily. I did think the lid seemed a bit flimsy but it did the trick. It is rather large so you need a place to store it. You can purchase a divided drop in for entertaining, I would love to have that to put dips in or part foods. I was surprised at how many uses there really are. I received this product for review but I would highly recommend this product, it is good bang for your buck!
I received this product in the mail and as soon as I started using it I fell in love with it. It is very easy to use and big enough to cook basically anything. Cleaning is not hard at all. Oster is a great name brand that I'm proud to use. **I received the roaster as a free product to test**
It is smaller than my microwave and fits great on my little counter. I use a foil pan under a 2 inch rack and my first fudge cake came out perfectly baked. A pork butt roast, 7lbs, was browned and crispy on the outside, all the fat drained out using a 2 inch tall rack. The roast had really brown to char bits on the top and sides and moist inside--5 star roast. I measured from handle-to-handle just 22 inches and 12 inches from the back-to-the front, or from the wall to the front of the roaster. But you can fit a great deal into this. I am going to stay with that 2 inch high rack to drain fat and get that browning. I am so happy with this product. p.s. I ordered a 14 gauge air conditioning cord, three prong, 15 Amp, to be safe if I need to extend the short cord. But since it is small and fits on my counter, maybe I won't need it. The manual says you can use an extension cord, but this is 1450 watts, so go over that rating or over 13 Amps.
I received my 16quart roaster product and I am extremely happy with it! The ease of roasting a chicken and turkey. We use this instead of our oven occasionally as it reduces the heat in the house. The only con to this is cleaning it. I have a small sink so it is a challenge trying to clean it! I received this product as a sample to review
